These figures were so ahead of their time and very underrated. I loved collecting these and I'm so glad I still own them. Best toy line ever.

@@BenjaminSchenk Oh for sure. You didn't get that back then unless it was Star Wars. I used to love going to Toys R Us and just going through rows and rows of these figures. After watching this video, it makes we wish I had kept mine in package. Good stuff man. Loved every minute watching this. Very impressive collection you have.

@@vanmicah The Helm's Deep Gimli was a limited release of around 500 to the Australian market. It is one of the rarest pieces in the line.

I had all of them as a kid. But I opened them and now they’re in a giant bag at my dads house somewhere. I love the way they look in box now

I had the Toybiz Gandalf the White from the two towers as a child, seeing this made me order it on ebay :P

I actually like the figures in blister packs as it reminds me of Masters of The Universe back in the 80s. The LOTR figures are some of the best made especially the details and the various weapons and equipments it contains. Though I disliked the first Frodo figure as it had the Rohan sword given by Strider at Weathertop instead of Sting.

This is AMAZING!

Hey again...I'm looking at your video again for the 2nd time...this is one HELL of a LOTR collection...WOW!!! It's incredible that your space alone is all for LOTR...when the one room I have is for all my different toy lines from NECA figures...batman..star wars..hot toys...etc. It's pretty impressive to see all your stuff. I used to also have everything in MINT packages at one time..but it came to a point where I just wanted to open everything and it was more fun to have everything out of the packages and displayed cool. But overall...all you need is some mannequins wearing like a Gandalf the grey or white costume and it'd be a museum to see!

@@BenjaminSchenk I have a small gameroom with a pool table and a pub table in it, that is going to become our action figure room. So we need to sell the pool table, replace the carpet and then work on the shelves. Locking glass display cases in the middle of the room for some of the really high end pieces. Will share when we get it up and rolling.

Is the map in the beginning video the free one that comes with the deluxe packs? What are the dimensions

I know this video was made some time ago, but is this all the figures or at least most? Like are there any you didn't have?

How many do you have that are packaged strangly?

I had a collection of middle earth action figures and swords and etc. I had 310 middle earth action figures and sets from toy biz to lego to bridge direct also swords and knives.I had 234 toy biz figures and sets. All 43 lego sets and all 34 bridge direct sets then on Dec. 17 2016 my house burned and lost everything. Even though I had my collection appraised for around 300k I did not get one cent of insurance money from those. I also had all the books movies and etc so I just wish I could/would have taken a pic of my Tolkien room. I starting to rebuild so maybe one day I will have my full collection back.

Great display and rare pieces. If only Toybiz could have done a few more waves. I think the wave after Guritz was going to include a Corsair, new Easterling and new Urak Hai.

Thanks!! I have a few of the exclusives from other countries that I will be listing on Ebay at the beginning of next month. I would look everywhere ebay, amazon, craigslist. You never know where they are going to pop up. Good luck on the collection and have fun looking. That is my favorite part, finding a piece I have been looking for awhile and getting it!!

I am getting a new display case tomorrow. I will set it up and hope to film a new video in a week or so. I need the motivation. I keep waiting for the next piece and then the next one to film it. I will do my best to put a new one out by the end of March.

brisnmundaen Some of the boxes have different or additional figures in them but a lot of them are just a different box color.

Technically they are movie product lines. The Fellowship Of The Ring boxes are green. The Two Towers boxes are red. The Return Of The King boxes are blue. However some figures from previous lines were labeled as a consecutive line however it is the same figure. For example the ringwraith and horse deluxe rider sets have a green box labeled as fellowship and then a year or so later a red box labeled as two towers however they are the same casting, the accent paint like mudding and blood on horses and cloaks etc is different on every individual figure I believe.

This is simply amazing. I have a corner and try to get the rarest I can. Quick question, how does the Entranced Galadriel turn on? What does she do? I have one but it is loose and I cannot find anywhere to click a button, lol. You should be proud of this! So much nostalgia. I wish I was buying these back then with their values rising so high! Thank you!! The entranced Galadriiel has a button behind her hair to activate her ability. You most likely have dead batteries, you will have to get fresh ones to check it out.

The Lord of The Rings series is arguably the best action figures that Toybiz has made and they are worth collecting. Though my disappointment is TFOTR Frodo figure! It came with the sword that Strider gave him and not String!

I think it may be the best action set ever released for any movie series. It is large set and fun to collect. The figures all have great features too. I found it cool that they released a Frodo without sting and showed his other sword. They released many other examples of Frodo with Sting.

True that there are many Frodo figures with sting my personal favorite is the super posable one in The Two Towers. I also like The Hobbit Figures by Bridge Direct. Not as iconic as Toybiz but still some good figures. And some of those in Bridge Direct used to work for Toybiz.

These figures have not been sold at stores for over 10 years. You can find them sometimes at vintage toy stores or on Ebay and the like. It is a great line to collect.

@@Atreyfabian Toy Biz has been defunct since 2007. They will never be sold at stores again except vintage, Ebay and similar places like that. I bet the new Amazon show will have its own toy line once it premiers though. It is a good time to be a Middle Earth fan!!

Hello how's it going. I know a seller who has a good size collection of these figures and he was until a while ago, on the fence about selling them. The person is local to me so I wouldn't have any huge shipping or import costs to deal with. The Collection straight up isn't as impressive as yours. My favorite Toybiz figure is Helm Deep's Gimli in the half moon box.

You gotta get the minimates sets!

Awesome collection, I am working on mine. I was a bit disappointed in the the hobbit figure line though. I have a TRU 3 pack also what do you think they are worth, mine isn't quite as awesome as yours tho!

Thanks for your comment. I agree the Bridge Direct stuff is bit of a let down from the Toybiz LOTR line. What figures do you have in your 3 pack? That will dictate the value but they go for anywhere between $30 to $200 or so.
