Great question! I got most of them from Asmus website, store.asmustoys.com/collections/the-lord-of-the-rings , some from ebay that aren't available anymore and a few from a local store. New figures you can buy from Asmus, Sideshow.com or bigbadtoystore.com but I would suggest getting direct from Asmus because they are cheaper, ship faster and usually give you a free gift, in fact a lot of the exclusive editions with diorama bases you can only get from their website. Wow what an amazing collection and so very well displayed! 🔥👌🏻 Glad you did this video because it’s really made me realise how great these figures actually are! Love the fact they have diecast weapons, and wow the tailoring, soft goods and all-round attention to detail is just top notch. All the headsculpts look absolutely fantastic as well! I was worried for a second that you didn’t have a Nazgûl figure! Thankfully you have one! Think any LotR collection definitely needs one because they look so badass! Thanks dude, this display and collection is a passion of mine, I made this video to show people who don't know much about ASMUS and the figures just how good they are, so I'm really glad you discovered these amazing figures through it. I made my channel with the intent of showing off the LOTR figures and my Star Wars 1/6 collection so it's been a long time coming, I've got a lot of videos I want to do on these figures individually. Yeah dude, got to have a Nazgul! The video doesn't do it justice, especially the die-cast armour! I'm curious, what were your expectations of these figures before you watched my shorts and this video?

@@TALON80s I assumed (wrongly) that Asmus was similar to a third party manufacturer for some reason. I know they are not but I just had that feeling about them. These figures blow that feeling out of the water once and for all, they are clearly high quality premium figures. Gothmog looks sick! Did they ever do Uruk-hai or orcs?

@@TK421Collectibles I see, I feel like a lot of people seem to think that way, hopefully after this video they don't. I feel like unfortunately all the videos of people's collections feature old outdated figures that don't represent what their current abilities are. Yes they did Grishnakh and Gurits, 2 orks, they are very rare though, the Gurits was one of the very first figures. They attempted to do a build a figure of an ork but I guess they realized why no one else was doing them in 1/6 scale because they never finished, cool idea though.

I’ve never heard of this company before, and I love their sculptures 💜🧝🏻‍♀️

@@faeriesnowqueenI hope it's not a disappointment but they are actually articulated figures so you can pose them how you like. Glad u like them though. ASMUS is a really small company but they have some big licenses like Lord of the rings. So cool that someone found their products through my video. Beautiful collection. I especially like the additions of the aquarium parts to help the environments. I have the old Sideshow LoTR figures but am upgrading to Inart. Gandolf is amazing so hopefully, Inart continues with the line.

This is an absolutely incresible collection!!! I just have Inart aragorn to come. Also need the hobbits. Two questions though, where did you get all of the back drops for the figures? And how did you get legolas' arm to hold the bow like that??? Mine won't seem to go into position

Thanks, let me know what you think of the in art Aragorn, did you get the routed hair version? Hmm well I can honestly say I don't know how I got it into that position, I just fiddled around with it and didn't have any issues. The back drops are a mix of fake plants from Dollorama and display rocks/ trees and plants from a store called Pet Smart. Some are for fish tanks, some are for things like reptile tanks. So, is there a chance that they will reissue Frodo and the others again? I'm late to the game and only got Gandalf last year. I love these figures. I really want young Bilbo

That's a good question, in my opinion there are a few I've seen go in and out of stock which you might be able to catch on Asmus website like Thorin, helms deep Aragorn, helms deep legolas, Eomir, old bilbo, boromir. Last time I saw Frodo go in stock was 6 months ago. Usually if they do a re-release it's for a main character, they've done frodo a few times, a few versions of Gandalf, legolas, aragorn and boromir, they did 2 versions of Merry and Pippin, the first version in my opinion was way better but I doubt they will do Merry and Pippin again. My best advice is, first go on Asmus website and on each page you can set up an email alert for the figure you want to let you know if it's in stock. Second I would message them and tell them the figures you want and ask if any of them will be back in stock. They are pretty good at getting back to you and tell you straight up if it's not coming back in stock. Then if you can't get it any other way I would try Facebook market place and last resort would be ebay but don't over pay, if you wait long enough for a good auction to pop up you will get a deal. I think today Sarumanis on ebay auction for about retail, the special edition but buy it now is 3 times the price. Bare in mind because there are various versions of some characters double check its the right one if buying used. I hand picked all the versions I think have the best head sculpts for my collection. Hi, Well I can tell you what I know, there are a few figures that don't hold up well but generally all the newer ones I've never had any issues with. The ones that have issues are mainly with arm joints becoming loose holding big metal weapons and fake leather crumbling. Those problem figures are (Gothmog, Guritz and the Morgal lord). Of the figures I own, I've only ever had problems with Gothmog, the fake leather had crumbled before I bought it and one arm is loose when holding the heavy weapon. One thing to watch out for though, on the Hobbits, the older ones have very small buttons that are glued on and easily get knocked off. It seems the newer ones are sewed on. Hope that helps.

@@moldovanuiulian405 you've definitely picked some of the cool ones. Here's my opinion on those ones, Gandalf the grey, the newest version is really nice but be aware that although the new one has an excellent head sculpt, it comes with a sculpted hat, not the cloth hat that I use, from the older version so watch a video that shows the sculpted hat to see if you like it. Eomir is an excellent figure! Two things may bother you though, the head is slightly above the neck leaving a small gap but once you futs it, you can't really see it because of the hair and stuff. The other thing may be a deal breaker, without the helmet, the hairline looks fake, take a look at an unboxing to see that. Faramir is really excellent but be aware the hair is sculpted and the boots aren't split cut. The Thorin is just excellent but be aware the dwarf sword is plastic and the elven sword is metal. Hmm... I see your point about legolas, it's not a perfect sculpt, in my opinion, the main issue is his face is too full and a bit rounded but otherwise the figure is really good. Ultimately it's totally up to you what you want to buy and if you like them once you bought them but it might be worth buying one at first to see how you feel about their products. 1/6 is not a cheap hobby so it's worth having a good think about it. The Gandalf sculpt is definitely cheaper than the InArt one, but I have to totally disagree: it’s most definitely not better. I have the InArt one and it’s a work of art. (I also have the entire Toybiz LOTR collection and the entire Lego LOTR/Hobbit line, so I’m not a casual LOTR collector nor a statue snob). These are cool figures - but the InArt Gandalf is on another level, but yes, extra pricey.

i think that Gandalf the grey is the best Gandalf around....

I have both asmus and inart and honestly inart is ten times better than asmus but I recommend for you to get gandalf the white with the horse it's so good

What is it about the inart figure you prefer over the Asmus one? I would like the Gandalf the white but I've run out of room at the moment unfortunately, especially when he comes with Shadwefax, looks like a fantastic figure 👍

@TALON80s I got to tell you the attention to detail is executed to the maximum from the hands to the accessories and the head sculp you got to see it on person to really appreciate like I said I have both and it's just beautiful

@@TALON80s I too had the 2 Gandalf. I loved my asmus but when I got the inart it 100x times better. I knew the face would be better but even the fabric are way more detailed, the asmus look cheap in comparison... i mean even the slig of the sachel is amazing XD

No disrespect, but these figures look dreadful compared to WETA in every single statue. Most if not all.. (no actually all) of the facial sculpts are way way off.. I nearly sprayed the monitor with coffee when I saw gollum omg. Also the doll like clothing never sits nicely to the bodies. I am one of accuracy...and to spend so much money on these is crazy as to the alternatives. I love LOTR... I collect a lot of statues, but would never consider this brand for those reasons.
