Apparently during the writing phase of this movie, they pretty much watched all of the prison escape movies they could to get a feel of what it was like. It definitely is my favorite aspect of the movie.

I will never accept Toy Story 4 as canon. This ending is just the perfect conclusion to one of the greatest trilogies ever made.

They made a few little shorts and spin-offs before Toy Story 4, but the one that I always remember is Toy Story of Terror. It follows them with that little girl on vacation, but a scummy hotel manager steals them from the room and tries to sell them. Combat Carl remains a badass in my memory

Woody was practically an heirloom It was nice that he donated his voice box to Gabby, but the movie could have done it in a better way, like Woody feels bad and gives his voice box up willingly without being manipulated/forced to do so. I felt like it was a good opportunity to be like, "when you don't need an organ anymore you donate it and someone can have a new life" I know the toys don't die but Woody was at a point where he was saying "my purpose is fulfilled" (an analogy for death) so he should have come to the conclusion that he should donate his voice box on his own instead of being cornered and having Gabby whispering "do it, do it, do it, see my muscly men? Do it."

nobody would ever play with a damn fork they made over a real toy like woody. she was all over him in toy story that time 4got, toy story of terror & the three shorts. then all of a sudden she just leaves him in her closet, pretends she never found him, plays with a damn fork she made & doesnt even realize hes gone at the end. it made no sense & was totally ooc. she’d be devastated she lost him like andy was in the first movie. he & buzz said in this whatever happened they were all gonna be 2gether 4 infinity & beyond & thats how it shouldve been. hell they all held each other’s hands & accepted that they were gonna die 2gether in it!

It's crazy how closely the scene where the baby throws Lotso in the dumpster resembles the scene where Vader yeets Palpatine. I never noticed that until now 😂

I would argue Lotso is far worse than stinky Pete, because whilst Pete tries to tear Woody to shreds, he’s not necessarily killing him, but Lotso on the other hand leaves them in the furnace, which would most definitely kill them, if it weren’t for the aliens.

This movie was one of the few Pixar movies to get me close to tears as an adult. Coco also came close.

Toy Story 3 is one of my favorite animated movies because it’s so clever and creative in its themes, storytelling, etc. The fact that Pixar had an overarching theme of the toys being abandoned over a prison break is insane

I remember my dad taking me and my younger sister to the movie theater to see Toy Story 3, it was absolutely amazing yet heartbreaking, I was 7 years old.

Toy Story 3: Woody will never leave you. Toy Story 4: So that was a effin' lie.

IMO, Toy Story 3 was the best of the Toy Story movies because it had moments that were both tearjerking and heartwarming, such as the incinerator scene and when Andy gives his old toys to Bonnie. 4 contrasted too much from 3, namely Bonnie's relationship with Woody.

Rocket would've been Lotso, I took Rocket wherever the hell I went and i just got lonely without him. My mom always made sure to bring Rocket with her whenever she took us to Disney. But I love them both still to this day unconditionally. ❤

It should’ve ended at this movie, it was a beautiful ending of passing your old toys on to another kid who will love and play with them

At about 8:35 As a lil kid probably about 3,4 maybe 5 years old,I had a Tobey Maguire Spider-Man And was fortunate to get one of the web shooters Nowadays I still have that and the 2003 hulk as collectibles stored away. One day I'll give them to my kid and tell him stories about heroes from my favorite movies and games

Last night I accidentally spilled a little bit of the milk on the living room carpet when I was carrying my bowl of Raisin Bran back to my room 'cause I sadly didn't finish my dinner of bratwurst and pasta salad.

Even after all these years… the monkey in Toy Story 3 still haunts my dreams.

I know not everyone is gonna favor this movie, but in my opinion, I'd say the third movie is my personal favorite, It's a huge improvement compared to both the first and second movie, just a story where the toys are no longer being played by their original owner due to age, and being sent to a new owner who would also take good care of them, even as toys, the events in this movie was insane.

And hopefully be able to pass it on. Love the thing. The ending to this movie, gets me everytime. lol I’m not crying.

when I was younger there was a ps2 version on this movie and I used to play it all the time.

I remember seeing this in the cinema with my mother, and not only did I shat myself when the monkey showed up but also sobbed my little heart out at the end. Even she was half in tears!

I watched this in theaters when I was 10 years old. Everyone else in the theater were either high school or college students and the amount of collective gasps and screaming whenever the film made us believe that a toy got killed or was abouta die was insane. A true great threequel. And truly one of the greatest movies of all time. A perfect ending. But ofc they just HAD to make Toy Story 4.

I watched this recently and a cried multiple times. Not just because the scenes were heart-felt and sad, but it reminded that this was the true ending of the franchise before the 4th film crapped on this one. My opinion ok.

I watched this movie in spanish and buzz just, starts speaking with a spanish accent (actually i think its the same audio for his lines in both the spanish and English) so i honestly never knew that the characters never understood buzz until now 😭

That movie was so good I actually stopped watching after 3 came out because I was too old for movies like that anymore. Toy Story 1,2,and 3 were amazing and they should’ve really stopped at 3. 4 and heck even 5 if that comes out will not be as well received compared to the first 3 films.
