lol it was easier back then. despite being able to handle 3 hits in bo 3 its completely negated by the fact that the zombies run fast AF and do insane dragon ball z ip man tier 10 punch combos the second you get within like 3 feet of them. it completely negates the benefits of being able to handle 3 hits

internet gaming was a thing when black ops 2 was out ;-; and it did take over it did when Xbox Live was made. People playing Halo really sparked a lot of online gaming and hell the Sega Dreamcast sorta introduced the consoles to online gaming just nobody ever really used it so it never really sparked anything but Microsoft a bigger company than Sega made the Xbox then people played and played online all the time because of it but Black ops 1 was super big in the online play during its prime time and so was Black ops 2.

Seeing Noah spawn in, with the lava and pack just stirred all those classic memories. I love the reimagined additional rooms/doors.

One of my favorite maps was definitely Shadows of Evil. I was skeptic at first, but it became one of my favorites. I even did the Easter Eggs step without checking the patterns on the train, I randomly entered the code without looking. It was epic.

All this needed was a Wunderfizz Machine for Random Perks like Widow's Wine, Deadshot Daiquiri, Electric Cherry and PHD Flopper for the fire(like the Town Reimagined Map), being limited to 4 perks, especially the Tombstone glitch not able to be done on solo is a kick in the nuts

I love how he just now notices tombstone but its been there since bo2 lol

So much nostalgia. BO2 was the first CoD game I ever played and Town was my favorite map just to play survival on. (I didn't have DLCs on my XBox 360 then). Just got back into BO3 on Steam and am waiting impatiently for BO2 to go on sale on Steam. Glad this popped up in my recommendations, thank you Noah.

I remember growing up playing zombies w the homies starting w waw but quickly loving bo1 zombies. Bo2 made some great memories as well. Heavy nostalgia w zombies for me.

Bo2 didn't have weapon customization in menu getting repacks was only way to change attachments Bo3 has the customization in menu but doesn't work for custom guns repacks only give special ammo

same here, Town was our favorite Spit screen map, me and My cousin had a great technique, she would be at the stairs and ill be by quick revive and the two windows, good memories, but sadly me and her, and all my cousins on that side of the family have kicked me out of that kinda group bond, but now me and my step cousin are having the same experiences on Town and funny enough, we're better than me other cousin at the game

i played zombies when i was 5 and then i started playing tranzit (my fav map including town.) and played black ops 2 and black ops 1 for 5 years i still have my ps3 and the disc and still play it today, and the nostlgia impacts so hard its so hard to stop playing when i die, im like oh shit im dead. but then im like just one more game, then i play for 3 hours

The DSR never did that in town when u packed it. I love the DSR I remember, it made it so u could zoom in with the scope. Toggling x4 and x8

For reasons i was thinking of splitscreen gaming nights with friends, we used to play this Map like crazy, bunkering top of the pool bar, no Idea of eastereggs or strategy, no Corona, just gaming. I'll soon start crying of nostalgia :')

“Town… But it’s actually good!” This triggers me a lot as someone who played Town all day when I was like 7 or 8 years old back in the day. The nostalgia and good memories with my then best friend Aaron keep roaming in my head, this makes it my favorite Zombies map of all time. So the fact that this man says it’s not that good kinda triggers me, my nostalgia and good memories.

Me and the boys would hit the box until we each had the rpd and hamr, get them pack-a-punched, keep the door that leads to jug closed and camp at the top of the stairs. 4 guys with packed LMGs and most of the time monkeys would roll over the level counter twice. Our best game was a second roll over to level 86. So basically 286 rounds. Took us 18 hours.

The feeling i get with zombies is a mix of nostalgia and rush of pleasure, it gives me a “high” similar to sniffing half a perc 30 but short lived

this was when zombies was good! Town was the classic map that you could just replay a million times!

Its just so much memories and we get caught up in them and when playing zombies it's like traveling back to the old days

Town was literally my favorite map, every time i played bo2 zombies it was probably town, i love that map and just recently came back for 4th of july with friends. Loved that game and will never sell it

The reason why I keep coming back to zombies is just how comfortable it is. I can eeeeeaaase into any zombies map like an old shoe. It's just so familiar and unchanging in a way. For a lot of people growing up in the late 2000s and on, kids lives were always changing whether it be moving or changing schools or divorces or lost friendships, zombies was always something you could go to when you just NEEDED to play something to get your mind off things. It's like a second home where everything is stable and stays the same. No stress, no anxiety, just comfortability.

If you have only played TOWN REIMAGINED you should try Town Remastered it looks alot closer to the black ops 2 version

I learned how to play zombies on town, the lava was a perfect obstacle to learned how to evade and juke, the multiple exits was ideal on how to strategically withdraw to reset, the zombies jumping through the was a awesome get up to make you critically think on how to improve your strategies, all in all… Town was literally the perfect noob map for beginners, after I mastered town I can honestly say the zombies section of the franchise became competitive to play

I can relate with the nostalgia feeling for zombies, I started gaming when bo2 was out. It’s what made me want to start playing, fast forward 4-5 years now I upgraded and switched to pc and still go back to ps3 to play some good old zombies. I also get this feeling with destiny, miss those times I’d stay up till 3 am raiding. Wish I could go back ;-;

Town for me is the most iconic ahh nostalgia it was so fun on bo2 just to have fun survive for a while messing around every time someone got the ray gun they’d get so happy I know all the camp spots like the stairs but if you buy it open you can get jug if not then it’s a good spot but no jug

Black Ops 2 was the game that started my Cod zombie game play. I remember playing it with my brother at age 8. Such a classic map. Two Xboxes two tv and a lot of time spent well!

For some reason i always wanted to be able to get into the room above the bowling room… and also the church, if you could walk in stairs all the way up and play up there would’ve been so cool

Town got some nice feelings from me 😍 I loved playing BO2 with my friends every damn evening, well our most loved maps were origin and town It's nice to see the remastered and expanded town, feels damn good Btw I also liked to use the DSR with iron sight there but I am really sure it was a one shot kill till round 40 or 45 PS you had to be lucky to get the DSR without scope, sometimes it took me 10 times of pack a punching

I was playing on Plutonium and those servers still have the DSR iron sights after pack a punching twice. So good at destroying a train

I remember playing 4 player splitscreen with friends, and in the box was not ray gun mk 2, it was MP5

Idek how to describe zombies. If it got thanos snap'd and the mode disappeared, I'd feel like a part of my soul is missing.

4 years later, watching the part about the NO SCOPE ON that DSR had me twitchin' out just as hard as you... I TRULY FEEL UR PAIN... DSR Iron Scope was STR8 SAVAGE! Just not the same gun with a scope

I started playing zombies with WAW Nacht. Honestly don’t know how to describe the feeling of nostalgia but I still love playing the old maps even now.

Bro I remember way back when I used to play world at war just the rush and the energy to win and all that while playing with your friends and other people trying to get to the top level and also get the ray gun was sooo FUCKINV fun like I miss it so much .world at war was my favorite game ever tbh

Town's never looked so beautiful before! ^^ 6:50 WaW knife mechanics were simply the best... xD

You have to pack-a-punch the DSR at least 3 times before you get the ironsites (Well for me)

I remember I used to load up town Try get the Galil, RPD or HAMR. Pack a punch Get Jugg, Stamin up, Quick Rev, Speed cola Camp by double tap. Ah memories

i was 11 when it first came out and i was amazed how we all died but one person who stayed alive till round 30 and teached me how to survive i gotta admit i was kinda scared of it especially when i played on shrooms last summer all i heard was zombies in my head when i stopped playing. But yea i just love seing how far i can go
