Great Video man! I’d probably go with the roll pan bumper and a hide away tow hitch receiver behind the plate. That’s always a clean look imo

I’ve always like the ones with the steps they’re always like convenient and nice and kind of easily get up in the back of the truck without letting the tailgate down

I'd go with the original look just because that's the kind of truck guy I am. But a '14 with the steps wouldn't be too bad. They come in handy for a vertically challenged person such as myself in my '20 sierra.

You need some goodies from kryptonite. Upper control arms, pitman arm, idler arm support, tie rods, wheel bearings, and sway bar end links. They don't make a beefy idler arm for the 1500 trucks like on the 1500HD/2500/2500HD/3500 trucks unfortunately.

What’s tire size you running and is it a level kit or lift kit ? What kind of tires

My son put a 2014 Chevy/GM step bumper on his old dodge truck, just by flipping(?) the brackets. On Chomper I would love to see a test fit of a blacked out 2014 Chevy/GM step bumper, just to see how it would look.

Stick with oem bumper replacement. That truck is perfect with the “oem plus” look.

My buddy tows with a 2012 GMC 1500 5.3 with a Paxton S/C. Still won’t pull harder than my Titan. Granted he is on 35’s and a 2.93 or something gear. Helps on top end but nothing down low. I like the cam though

3.08, 3.42, and 3.73 were the main available gears for that year. 3.08 is certainly a bad choice for 35's but with a roots style supercharger it should pull harder than a stock Titan. He needs gears badly but something is up.

My 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 crew cab transmission gets up to 200° sometimes, and I ain't even pulling nothing.

The Ford has the better transmission and more modernized engine. That 5.0 is more expensive in every way and makes a tad more power. The 5.3 is extremely reliable, simpler design, repairs and parts cheaper, and it has a lot more aftermarket options for performance. Some modern Chevy transmissions has a decent shot of going due to the torque converter going out so do your homework. Getting a new torque converter is often all you need to make it a reliable combo. Past those things, it's just preference.
