Headers should free up power if you had a lot more exhaust. But it makes it sound better and look better. It’s all part of it! Awesome truck. It needs LS ported heads and upgraded injectors and pump. Time for the big money mods!!!

No it does not have any provisions for the downstream o2s. I just zipped tied them out the way. And you might have a checked engine because of this but I had mine tuned out or you can possibly use some spark plug defoulers to trick it.

I just got done with short tubes on my tahoe, I've been plannin on upgrading to e fans as well as the same aluminum radiator, but would you recommend a stage 2 cam? I would've liked a stage 3 but I already average like 12mpg city, 8mpg with e85, and don't wanna have to deal with changing the stall converter as well

🔥 as usual bro, but those gaskets that come with the headers are trash. Over a few months the headers will burn through them and cause a leak. You have to use OEM manifold gaskets because they’re MLS

Appreciate it brotha! on the rear its on 17x10 rim with 305/45/17 tire and the front is a 20x9.5 rim with a 245/40/20 tire although i recently switched to a 255/45/20 tire for a meatier look

Nah man it’s stock, we didn’t modify it and the truck was lifted before so there would be no need to modify it. At least it looks stock 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah long tube headers have been known to be better overall than shorty headers. Long tube headers definitely make more power than shortys!

Low end you’re not for not long tubes they lack the power the power in the on the low end unlike the short tubes but then long tubes on top end gain power

We had them tuned out by our tuner so didn’t install them.

Did you notice a difference with these headers and are they a good quality set? And how are they holding up now? Thinking about doing these headers I just seen there a little on the cheaper side

They are holding up great, but I recommend getting the stainless one because the paint come off the black ones and fitment was ok driver side fit great but passenger side needed some massaging. But this could of been because of my old motor mounts being worn. But nonetheless it could still possibly be an issue.

We don’t, we just kept it because we are boosting it so we didn’t want to invest in an intake we wouldn’t need later on.

Nah the misfire was for something else, these headers will be fine but you will get a check engine for your cats because these obviously dont have any cats but not a big deal if you dont care👌

​@@eddievazquez2330engine needs an o2 sensor to measure AFR to make sure it's not lean or rich. The o2 you see in the header is the pre-cat o2 sensor.

Cutting and fabricating. We made it ourselves but you can buy bezels and just cut it out and weld the tip of your choice. Or if you don’t have the tools I’m sure some muffler shop can do it for you.

Kits from flash ark come with catless y pipes if you dont have cats you dont need the rear o2 sensors as the only purpose for them is to measure efficiency of the cats.

I know I asked this already but what does the o2 sensor help do if you have no cats...

Mainly the downstream 02 are to monitor the cat efficiency, so mine were tuned out by my tuner.

Hey man, these are for 2wd trucks. I’ve heard some people bash them to make the fit on 4wd and awd. But I think it’s probably better to get 4wd ones to be safe.

Clean truck. No CAI with headers and cam? Always take out the plugs just to avoid breaking them, but you live and learn. Sounds good too

The stock intakes on these trucks actually don’t flow that bad, the “cold air” intakes you find online generally just suck in hot air anyways

@@eddievazquez2330 youll never pass ca smog, has to have the factory tune now. HEaders will make any engine run lean so the ecm needs an 02 sensor to see whats going on

required a few love taps bro 😂 but it could be because my engine mounts are worn out i’ve heard that could cause longtube headers to not fit perfectly.

Disconnect the battery before you even begin anything.. your computer will do a little soft relearn and comprehend better with the AFR, you still need a tune but it’s better than just cranking it on and relearning while your driving without disconnecting the battery beforehand.

Sometimes Longtube headers aren't worth the hassle especially for LS Swaps. It shows how good Flasharkracing is on there fabrication and jig for you having to beat them into fitment... Ball dropped there. They look just like your basic China Longtube headers. I'm going with a more reputable company like Summit... I'm honestly more surprised the Cops in Calli doesn't impound your truck and crush it since they are hell bent on stopping vehicle modifications. Nice vid though...

I think fitment was bad because of worn motor mounts, I’ve heard of others having no issues with fitment. But it doesn’t work like that in Cali lol you’ll get fines for modifications never impounded but as long as you don’t drive around crazy no one will bother you

They are for 2wd, people have made them fit with some fab work on 4wd but if you want to swap right in better to get 4wd ones.
