That must have been a tougher than usual job. The pilot seemed a bit more excited than it sounds usually. He also seemed to issue a lot of orders that he cancelled before you even had a chance to position. I assume from that, it was very tight and hard to get the ship maneuvered. Every second was great to watch. Thanks!

Hey, I think I’ve invented a few new drinking games. 1. The player has to take a drink each time you touch the microphone. 2. If the mic is swinging back and forth, you have to chug a beer before you stop it. 3. Shot of whisky each time you lock the winch. This could also be extract points to the first two. I have an idea for one for each time you change the throttle, but it needs some work. Just something to think about. 😂. (Of course this is only for those of us ashore, not standing watch or maneuvering :) )

What's the phrasing for when you can't immediately execute an order for some reason? "Unable"? I really like the communications in your job. Very clear, no bullshit, just order, readback, yes sir, and save the chatting for the office. I need some people at my work to go to the pub more often so they can shut the heck up at work haha

i realy like your videos. I think you should have a headset mic for the radio with a ptt button near you right hand controller, your current mic is going to give you a black eye if you are not careful

Is your tugboat considered the occasion going? River push tugboat? Do you ever push a barge for the oil and gas industry? Is it only assisting with barges/ships with containers? Is your tugboat the twin-screw or twin-jet system to get around? When you retire from tug boating are you going to buy one to live in for the rest of your life if so I would like to do that myself. This tug is for ship docking but it can go in the ocean. We do not move barges but I guess we could if needed. It mostly does ship assist. Thanks for watching 🤙

He has a camera system on the screen on his left side that has many different angles of the entire tug including inside the engine room. He explains it in one of his boat tour videos. Hope that helps!
