I guessed the feelings they had for each other when they had the conversation in Tear in book 4. Subtle but there was a certain tension. Then after her "'death" Tom received the letter and read it all the time.

LMAO - The book cover is them *entering* the Tower of Ghenjei. Lost detail time - the symbol you use to start the game of Snakes and Foxes is what must be carved into the tower using an iron knife to enter the tower. The ashandarei that Mat received was part of his initial bargain way back when he had no clue 😋. He asked for 'a way out' and was granted one but it isn't until they're running for their lives that he finally figures it out.

one of the big theme in this book is the concept of the unreliable narrator. Nobody knows everything of what's going on. Most of Thom and Moiraine's relationship happens off-screen during the first and fourth book, when they are leaving the two rivers (and we only get the POV of rand who's basically terrified out of his mind because they're being chased by Trollocs, not the best moment to pay attention to the relationships of strangers), and when they are in the stone of Tear after conquering it. There are a few lines of Thom's POV where he's thinking of Moiraine as "a very fine woman" or something like that, that shows that they have interacted, and he likes her in a way that's a bit more than pure friendship. It's not over-emphasized, but it's somewhat present.

Hello. ToM is an awesome book, one of the best in the series. The book has a couple of Top 10 WOT chapters in my opinion. A Storm of Light🐉🔥⚡❄🌪

So, you mention you read the last book, and speak of another review that's to come, but I can't find it. is it hidden somewhere, in some out of sight corner of the tower of Ghenjei ? has it been burned out of the pattern by some evil forsaken wielding balefire ?
