On May 17, 2024, as part of a book tour of Dutch universities, Dr Maya Wind visited Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) to discuss her 2024 book, Towers of Ivory and Steel: How Israeli Universities Deny Palestinian Freedom (Verso). The book offers a comprehensive account of the complicity of Israeli universities in their government’s violations of international law. A panel of students and academics reacted to Wind’s work, drawing connections to the situation in the Netherlands and, more specifically, at EUR.
