Gordon, so good to find your streaming Channel. I'm glad to find somebody who enjoys and appreciates the musical intricacies of Tower of Power, as much as I do. And by the way, why isn't the Tower of Power Brass Section in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Unbelievable!
Oh man ! This song is just sublime. From the first hit of brass, it's already making a statement. Just awesome
We in Northern Cali loved TOP in the 70's. You better have their music in your collection. The triple murder was the downfall of Rick Stevens. A great voice silenced.
Remember the "Days on the Green?" I must have gone to a dozen of them in my late teens and living in the Bay Area. Tower of Power was pretty popular.
Awesome 😎 🔥 song, Gordon. “Still A Young Man” is a definite CLASSIC! Better yet, 1972 was the year that I was born. Gordon, speaking of the year of 1972, would you please do one of your excellent reviews of "Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler)" by the legendary Marvin Gaye (R.I.P.)?
Paul Murtha did the arrangement. He was genius.
Gordon, I have another request. Would you review “Jungle Boogie” by Kool & The Gang? That’s a CLASSIC 😎🔥 funk masterpiece off Kool & The Gang’s album Wild And Peaceful (1973).

That song was bordering on the threatening in "Pulp Fiction." Great tune!!
