Well, I started playing very young and went to music school for about 12 years and never gave up playing for about 27 years :)

I'm beginning to learn music theory. Why do the chords at 4:13 and 4:14 sound like they don't belong to the key?

Maybe because they are "diminushed" and the left hand does the 3rd and the 5th note of that "base" instead of the 1st. I don't know if i explained that the right way, sorry.
