I actually miss old Toverland when there were only two halls on my first visit in 2004. Boosterbike was brand new and there was an atmosphere that is no longer there. When I asked the way to Toverland in the Netherlands, nobody knew what that was. Everyone then said 'indoor amusement park'. What an evolution in their 20 years.

It’s certainly come along way!

Fenix and Troy look great the rest of the park doesn't draw me in as much as places like Silver Dollar City and Efteling. I think its the element of surprise of what's around the next corner verses seeing everything that makes the difference in a big way.

True, it´s not that great landscaping-wise as those two. Toverland being really close to Efteling (45 min-1hr drive) and them being almost the same price, it´s an easy choice for me and many others. Toverland also is really close to Phantasialand (1hr) , so I guess you could say they picked the wrong spot for a park inspired by both Phantasialand and Efteling. I guess this is why they´re having trouble drawing crowds and therefore having big financial issues.

Charlotte has really taken to being in the vlogs and she really makes things better! Her personality is really shining with these vlogs. Keep up the good work, both of you!

Ah I love Toverland, was there just last week. Troy was the first larger coaster I've ever been on back in 2007! Sweet memories, I still remember how scared I was while queuing

after doing Portaventura a couple times, I've generated a love for theming. meaning this and Efteling on *Very* High On My Bucket List. Along With Energylandia of course. great vlog non the less

Toverland is only a 45 minute drive for me but I've never been. I'm a huge Efteling fan (also a 45 minute drive for me, I go there multiple times a year) and I've been a bit on the fence about toverland but you've convinced me to go and visit 😁. Thanks for all your fun and always positive vlogs. Lets all us poor schmucks with normal boring jobs enjoy all those parks we'll probably never be able to visit all ourselves 😜

Theme Park Worldwide same! Beautiful country although I have only been to Efteling. It was in 2019 and they were gonna knock down bob but the que was massive so we went back on python, now I wish we waited until we got on Bob 😭

I've been in Movie Park again a week ago for the first time in at least 10 years. The new Star Trek Launch Coaster is awesome. Especially the queue line has an awesome design. I did notice people not keeping their distance in the queue lines. At least they wear masks I guess. Have a great time Shawn and Charlotte. I've been watching your channel for a few years now, but this is the first time I left a comment. Love your channel. Especially the USA road trip. My dream is to once go to all the great parks in the USA (Mostly Cedar Point). it was great seeing those parks up and close for the first time.

They have a second train for boosterbike so they can run 2 trains in the future. There has to be an extra brake section to achieve that, but that isn't there yet. The launch reset is also much faster now, so thats another hint that 2 trains on boosterbike is gonna happen.

We followed your steps and just finished our UK theme parks trip. We went from Thorpe Park to Alton Towers(2 days) to Blackpool (2 days). And what made our trip even happier was to check your vlogs at the end of day. Thank you!!

Very nice park. I visited Toverland at the re-opening day this year in May. Good to see there are more crowds now because when we visited the park was really really emtpy.

Toverland looks like such an incredible park! Sadly didnt manage to make it there during my last trip to the netherlands but it gives me a good excuse to go back! ;) Quality vlog Shawn!

When I went and I didn’t see Fenix going around I was getting antsy “Oh man it won’t be closed right?” but it takes longer to load people in and out of the ride so it just goes around less frequently, when I saw it I was like “Thank god”

It blows me away how fast these European parks expand. Most major expansions in the states are at least a decade apart. Look at how much bigger and better Efteling, Toverland, Europa and Phantasialand have gotten in just the past five years.

Efteling and Phantasia both havent grown in decades even an inch. Toverland has grown way too fast and has the financial problems to prove it wasnt a good idea.

But it IS in financial trouble. Last year already their manager admitted they have a huge debt and he said it was due to the fact there just aren't enough visitors. In 90 % of the vlogs you see the park totally empty. It would have been smarter for them to stay with just toddlers like they did before. Efteling and Phantasialand just are too good to compete with.(both are only about 1 hr drive away) When your finances are bad even precovid, it isn´t hard to imagine how bad they are now...

fredster Not interialy true, they got the loan from the bank to finance their expansion with which they hoped to attract more visitors. It’s a risky investment but they gained almost 200k visitors in 2 years and got a small profit for the first time. So i gues its working. Any more visitors they now attract is pure profit.

Been there last friday. Got my first rides on Troy and Fenix! Both great coasters

This week me and my friends went on the Roadtrip in motorhome to Netherlands inspired by trips that you have made on TPW. We visit Slagharen, Walibi, Efteling on night event and Toverland. It was absolutely amazing. My favourite atractions were Untamed, Fénix, Gold Rush, Goliath, Troy and Symbolica - in this order. Thank you for inspiration!

"Fenix" looks like a very heavily themed attraction throughout and the landscape looks really decent overall. p.s. that cross interaction element is similar to "The Runaway Mine Train" and "Congo River Rapids" at Alton Towers and is a perfect example of positive experiences from cross colaboration rides and attractions. The smell inside the "Dark Ride Section" is similar to "The Smell Pods" from Azoma Prime by the sound of it, used in "The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure". Cheers Peter :)

Loved the vlog. I really enjoy fenix however I feel that the wing over drop is not as strong as the swarm due to the fact there is a turn off the lift hill so you go though it quicker

Was here today, crowded af! Djengu river 75 min, Troy 60 min, boosterbike 60 min, Maximus 90 min. Social distancing wasn’t even possible. Even waited 30 min for our fries.

I've been here one time about 15 years ago when they didn't have most of the stuff shown. They only had the indoor section and the motorcycle coaster. Should pay it a visit sometime. Although it doesn't look as magical as efteling as of yet.

Movie Park is only an hour away. Since both The Netherlands and Germany are in the Schengan area, so you could stay at Toverland and drive over to Movie Park and Efteling (and Tilburg Kermis is such thing ever comes back)

I have been here a few times when i was younger and i rrally want to go back amd ride the new wing coaster

36:22 The old train was getting refurbished and will be back. They will use it as backup, so BoosterBike can be operational when one of the trains is getting maintenance. Vekoma also adjusted the launch recently. It is probably a fase 1 modification for two train operations when Toverland gets more visitors in the future.
