The king and queen are concerned about finding a prince to marry the princess. The princess suggests copying the fairytale of rapunzel so she locks herself in a tower. A fairy appears and asks her what she wants and the princess says a beautiful dress and a handsome prince to save her from the tower. The prince shows up and saves her and then they go back to the castle. He goes on his knee in front of the king and queen and asks for the payment for saving the princess instead of asking for her hand in marriage. The parents ask "you won't marry our daughter?" and the fairy appears again and says "Oh you can't tell me that you actually believe in fairy tales" "😂 So they got tricked. The end.

The prince saves her and then ask for the money as a reward. The family ask if he’s going to marry the princess and the fairy appears to say: don’t tell me you beleive in those fairytales? and yeah thats it

I wish there were English subtitles.... Edit: After watching, I think I might had got it. The princess is desperate for a man, so she gets an idea from a book to put herself in a situation where she needs to be rescued. She does it, and automatically a fairy god mother, guy and dragon appears. Everything ends well, until the boyfriend make very high demands from her parents. The fairy (I don't understand French), but I'm guessing she says something like: nothing comes for free you know (wink wink). Then it's shown right at the end that she was the one who wrote the book the princess got the idea from and is responsible for influencing princesses into getting into these situations and then getting payment via the hero's demands.

Well, the young girl locked herself in the castle so that a prince would save her, because she couldn't find anyone who'd want to marry her. But after defeating the dragon and "saving" the princess, the young man asked for a payment for his services (land, cattle...) instead of asking her hand in marriage. The parents of the princess are stunned and ask him if he's not going to marry their daughter. Then the fairy makes fun of them and says "Don't tell me you still believe in fairy tales?" The end. xD Sorry if I made any mistakes, as you can easily guess english is not my first language

Oh please, It's not hard to understand. I don't know an inkling of French, and I could clearly understand the film, even to the point of the prince asking for money and land instead of (or in addition to) marriage. However, I could tell the fairy said something witty at the end, but I don't know what it was :P
