His videos are always the best! I enjoy watching with my daughter cause I know he is always gonna catch fish and no foul language for the little one! Much respect for this guy! Thanks for the great videos! Like I’ve said before if your ever in Iowa hit me up and I will take you out fishing!

Same, my son watches fishing videos and I always try to point him in the direction of Greg. Family friendly language and he’s a positive role model.

A guy once told me 3,4 and 5. All you’ll ever need. Unless your targeted the bigger bass than you upgrade.

Ha that rock wall your at is right across from where I got my 10lber on your first fish. When you look to the right and you see the shore with the boulders on the point. That's it!!

Watched this vid in 3 parts over yesterday and today. Thankful that I saved some for today, helped heal the heart after a tough day on the water. Thanks Greg! You're the GOAT, keep that Positive Mental Attitude (P.M.A.)!!

Tournament fishing.....nothing like it!!! Thanks for sharing Greg. That was the perfect way to start my week. The entire measuring thing I am not entirely in favor of. In the Plastic Navy tournament trail we had live wells. That helped in that the old rocket-launched bass rarely occurred. However my brother did have a six pounder come flying out of the live well the moment he placed it there. He still had the net in his other hand and quick thinking averted the disaster of loosing that fish. He netted it!!! For the second time!!!! Take care bud!!

thanks Angel! I hear ya. It's crazy to think back when we did 3 fish limit kayak tournaments someone could catch THREE 14 inch bass for 42'' that maybe go 4 pounds and someone else could catch TWO bass at 20' for 40'' that are probably 9-10 pounds total and still lose to the first guy!

Without much cover for holding fish on McClure, but boat traffic often creates one of the best mid day patterns ..once the mudline forms. I typically follow the contour of the shoreline/cliffs with a rip bait or spinnerbait (w/trailer hook) and quickly work thru the mudline.. Good way to fill out a limit..

That was an awesome video bro . sorry I laughed when that second fish jumped out of the kayak and back into the water. If it was me I probably would have thrown my rod and reel in the water with the net😂😂😂

I don’t know about anyone else but I really did enjoy this video! I like the way you stay up beat even when all looks lost! I have a saying that I catch myself saying often “ Well if that’s the worst thing that happens today I’m still alright!”

Thanks man! I will say that most tournaments (if not all) that I do well in I catch a key fish in the last hour! gotta treat every hour the same!

Greg ghat is the morning wind. In Canyon Lakes and rivers, as the air heats up it begins to move and will create a wind for a few hours.

Dinks are what McClure is known for. It is one of my home lakes.

Greg that lake this time of year you want to be either right on shore or off 40 to 80 ft deep with drop shots we stick 3lb spots or so usually in that range. Plus i got a 10.6 on a jig up by horseshoe. 8lber at barrets. An 8.5 at mcclure poimt. They are there. Go deep!!

LOL... That happened to me a few times last year in tournaments and it hurts for sure especially when it is a big bass. Your right death grip for sure. Nice rock bass...lol . Still good finish considering. Congrats to Alden.

ya always sucks when they jump off the board back into the water I have had that happen with few big fish. And ya totally agree once you have a limit you fish more relaxed and with more confidence . great video though keep them coming.

After 1030 or 11 you should have fished 35 to 60 ft deep!!! Big spots and largies!!!

😂😂 those two fish that jumped out during measurement, mind you it was back to back; made me laugh hard Greg. I feel bad but it was hilarious. Like what you said man, theres nothing to lose, and with that mindset you just have to hakuna matata the day. I still think its a good day catching a limit on tournaments; definitely your objectives second would be culling and winning. This longer videos on tournament day is good! Makes it feel more like we are actually fishing with you. Good luck on the next one! ✌🏼

I was actually going to ask you, a couple videos ago, if you had ever had a fish escape while you're trying to measure it. Man, that had to be disheartening, brother, 2 in a row. Thank goodness they weren't 20"+ fish. Love the tournament videos, man. Dunno why, but it's more fun to watch it when there's something on the line. Keep up the cool content.

Im going to watch this twice.

I take my photos vertically in one of the leg slots. I put my right leg over the edge of my kayak then snap the photo. They have much higher to jump to get out of the kayak, haven't lost any off the board since I started doing that. You can rotate your photos after.
