Sorry but when you “volunteer” to attend a hike that you know will be congested then you weren’t stranded. You were there with thousands of others. People whine about everything now. Next time go when its not going to be crowded with like minded people.

People need to stop doing group tours. Group tours take all the fun out of it. Go there with only your family that way less people and you can choose when to go.

Many Chinese are just like you, holidays especially the spring festival is just better to stay home and enjoy foods and drinks with family…but those other Chinese, they knew it will happen, and they still go., they love to be crowded which I will never understand why…

And Chinese government is worried of decreasing population. Overpopulation is a disaster that big countries like China and India needs to think of with 1 child policy only.
