It was such a wonderful surprise to see Maria again. Safe travels to her and I will miss seeing her at LaLande.

Lancelot looks as though he has adjusted wonderfully to the lead and is very happy and excited to go on 'walks' through the forest now. I saw his tail was up but I did love his adorable check on you looks every couple of seconds. And his jaunty little trot!! As a short person myself, I know what its like to keep up with long striders, fast walkers and taller people (you feel as though you are trotting through life sometimes) lol. I think its just so funny Stephanie, how you were reluctant for a dog, but now you have one, you have just fallen in love, like you do with so much in life, and they honestly give so much happiness and love back, we really don't deserve them, but we are so lucky they love us in return!

Maybe 'Sir' Lancelot has grown in confidence because Stephanie has grown in confidence in looking after a dog. Dogs really do look to the people around them and their reactions when trying to gage new situations/people etc. Lovely to see! ❤🐕

Yes, he's just a baby yet. Tiny dogs like that often feel less overwhelmed being off the floor when there are many people moving in a room. Humans are so huge, their faces so far away, and tiny dogs instinctively know they might be trodden on, so it's a securer introduction this way. I'm certain he'll be very sociable and full of gusto like his parents once he's grown into it and himself! So SWEET 💕

I hope that even without Maria's practical reminders that you all collectively remember that Lancelot DOES need to know how to walk from place to place. He is very adorable and runs the risk of having his legs atrophy! 😆😂😉 His ears are wonderful. So fun to see him settling in and becoming braver and braver.

The Lalande grounds and woods are as enchanting as the people who inhabit the Chateau! I love every minute of these dailies.💖🙏🏻

Nothing is as pure as the way our pets love us. Suddenly LaLande has a new charm for me,thank you very much for all the joy!

What a nice welcome for your Aunt and uncle, didn't they move closer to you. Lancelot is a doll....you carry him as much as you want, I'm a pet nanny and as long as you're giving love they will do their best to please you.

When you do embroidery on towels, you need to have a wash away stabilizer on the bottom and a clear plastic wash away stabilizer called Solvy on top. If you don't do this, the embroidery will be lost in the loops of the towelling fabric. 🧵

Lancelot is doing so well fitting into his new home! When you were out walking with him Stephanie, he kept looking up to get reassurance and direction from you. That is a great way to make sure he doesn't pull on the leash and instead stays beside you. He's so little though that it probably wouldn't matter too much if he pulled as opposed to a great dane pulling. lol

Lancelot looks like he loves his new life. ❤

We had a little chihuahua mix from 5 weeks (he should not have been adopted yet, but his owner apparently didn't care) and told us he was 8 weeks, upon a Vet visit, we were enlightened and thus we had to bottle feed him for two weeks), he lived to 13 years when he passed from a heart issue. Small dogs have severe hip and rear leg issues, so as they age those problems can severely affect their lives. Just like elderly people, walking for lengthy distance will become a problem, and carrying will be necessary. Just a quick tip, anytime you take him for walks in the woods, it will be very wise to use dog wipes and wipe down his body, especially his face and feet, to help keep him from picking up bacteria, insects and skin irritants. Love you guys and your videos.

Am I really only learning your Aunt's given name for the first time? Hardly seems possible! And I thought her calling Lancelot "adorable" sounded a lot like Isabelle's voice.

Lancelittle is the cutest little dog I have ever seen. He’s like a fairy spell miniaturised a Doberman! I read up about their breed and theyre apparently not good around other small animals. LaLande is full of critters, Ruby, the chickens and the peacocks, Philip will have his hands full training him. Quite get how Stephanie’s resistance was broken by the little imp. I am not a dog person but he’s something I have never seen. How big will he grow. Right now he is perfect, all small things are heart melting!

He's going to be a tiny dog. The breed averages 2-6 lbs
