My wife & I got married on the farm , blue jeans , white shirts , black stetson hat , the driving shed was cleared out and made into a sort of band shell , so we had our reception in the yard between the house , the barn and the driving shed. We couldn't afford any of the wedding venue's , but we had a fantastic wedding ( Her Ex husband and his wife were the musicians ) it was a blast. Banjos , fiddles , it was a real hoot nanny , .. that was ours. You will know when you find the venue that's right for you , you'll feel it in your heart , just don't let them hoodwink you , it's your guys special day.

Start off with priorities. It helps you allocate not only budget, but time and effort on the different aspects of your day. Just got married this past October and we planned it pretty quick because of the uncertainty of where the world was going to be at our original date so having that discussion helped us focus on what we really wanted and filter out what we believed wasn't necessary for us. I highly recommend watching Jamie Wolfer. Amazing advice at any situation

So I was a wedding planner for a few years and here is my primary advice. It is about the two of you, those who love you will be there to support you, make it what YOU want. Make a budget and then talk about what is most important to you before allocating those funds. When I got married, multiple days was a must too and stellar photography, so we cut down the guest list (a lot) due to COVID and budget. Allow yourself some time and space for what you want to take shape, don’t sign any contracts right away. Happy to be a resource for you throughout your journey!

I LOVE that venue! It's beautiful and the stone features are gorgeous. Have you considered Alberta, Canada as a venue option? I recommend looking into the Fairmont Banff Springs or the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. You can have a winter wonderland wedding at a cheaper cost as well.

My wedding venue had 3 houses on the property so our bridal party and some family could stay with us the whole weekend and we LOVED it. Definitely starting with the venue is the way to go do you can nail down a date and start planning everything else. After you nail the venue I would look at dresses because they can take several months to come in because usually they have to be ordered.

If you look back in Utah try looking at log haven the specialize in weddings. They are also up in the mountains and are the number one restaurant (also romantic restaurant in Utah). For Hawaii try looking at haiku mill. They both are stunning, elegant, but laid back so you can have a more intimate wedding. For guest you guys could rent/Airbnb a cabin or house/houses. It’s really up to you guys, wishing you luck and congrats!

Yes any advice would be appreciated lol. I don't know where to start. I have ideas, but its a bit overwhelming to say the least. Theres so many beautiful places in any area you live in. I loved the lodge. The mountains were stunning.

Do big things 1st this is a good place to start the wedding venue and do dress and tux not too late lol so if it needs to be fixed there is time to change things. And flowers too if u are having them. Also it's going to be more money but get a videographer as well as a photographer. So u will have a wedding video its well worth it and you will have everything that everybody says and it will catch different moments that you not notice or something hilarious will happen and it will catch that etc.... then instead of having to remember what happened it will be on video. But its up to you I'm saying that bc my sister had one and she can watch it a million times over and see what memories where caught and everything that was said and all the hilarious moments

Exciting times all matters is u love it and nothing turns out perfect on wedding day but works out all perfect in the end Remb that I see u to getting married outside in Hawaii even fun to do the lodge in lanai with the pines trees and the beach
