Sorry. Lets just clear this right off the bat. Michael Jordan is NOT the greatest athlete of all time. Hell, he won’t even crack the Top 20 of all time. So just park that statement, and in fact, make a retraction He doesn’t hold a candle to some of the best sportsman of all time.. Eliud Kipchoge - by many heads and shoulders the best athlete/ sportsman to walk the earth. Then we can get into the likes of Roger Federer, Tiger Woods, Michael Phelps, Rapahel Nadal, Usain Bolt, Carl Lewis, Serena Williams, Jack Nicklaus, Steffi Graf, Pele, Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton None of these NBA, NHL, MLB people crack any list.

For anyone that grew up in the 90's this house is like a time capsule. The NEC televisions, the landline phones, the cabinetry, the curved walls. The whole house screams 90's luxury. Which is so vastly different to what people consider luxury today.

This has to be one of the most impressive estate I've ever seen on any channel. Walking on that hardwood floor were the legendary 23 played, just priceless. Enes, I have to thank you so much for an amazing video and in-depth tutorial. The estate is like a Ritz-Carlton resort.

Hindsight is always 20/20. I had no idea as a kid in the 80's and 90's that I was witnessing the greatest player of all time. I just understood that he was really good. Nobody knew back then that he would still hold records decades later.

You and your crew have come so far Enes, touring Michael Jordans estate is truly an amazing accomplishment!

Insane. I grew up in France and I’ve been a fan since 1996. At this time, from Europe, it was really difficult watching games, reading NBA news etc. So it’s pretty awesome to see where Michael and his family used to live at this time ! It’s like a time capsule. And it also breaks my heart seeing it all empty. Especially the trophy room. I wish the next owner of this mansion would keep it like this, the basketball court is part of basketball history 😍

Totally what I was thinking. Guest house would be the museum gift shop, sell some vintage Bulls merchandise, jerseys, etc. Jordan could probably get a sizable tax write-off from the little vanity project.

Obviously nobody wants to live there or spend that kind of $$$ no matter how Iconic MJ is...plus you could create revenue stream by charging for tours and admission. Rent out the court for hourly price etc. If these ideas are used then I am eligible for $$$ negotiations from MJ's management team. Open to discuss further as I have some of the best ideas that have ever been birthed into the human imagination. I just do not have the resources to pull it off, but my idea's are top tier. The Delray Fl ocean to intercoastal is my fav.

For me, even seeing the house back in the 90's it looks like a museum or mausoleum more than a house. I do love the front gates with the 23 & all the land surrounding it.

I grew up being a fan of the greatest Mikes. Michael Jordan, Mike Tyson and Michael Jackson. They were all super human to me. Thank you for such an amazing tour. I just found your channel. New subscriber‼️

The untouched lower level was so cool to see, literally like going back in time to see a state of the art, highest end entertainment longue money could be in the year 1995. I love the carpet design, Jordan logo on the ceiling and the LED lights. so cool

Never seen anything like it! The recorded sound! I have never heard such clarity. The camera work ..aiming at the various rooms..and the editing, the cuts!! How do they do those cuts? Have never seen such camera work! The quality of the film is better than any. The B rolls, and the footage at the beginning. How on earth did Enes think to do that? I have never seen a video with cuts in the middle…of the subject. I worked there as a security guard for a security firm during the lasts few weeks of phases of the finishing of the estate. It was non the less, even more beautiful walking through it. I was at awe standing on the the original CB hard wood floor.

You do know it's been renovated, right? That's all modern and not nineties vintage. I saw the house before it was renovated.

Apart from the facade tiles and the living room furniture, the home is dandy in a nostalgic way.

Yes, Michael Jordan's mansion not even the start of the tour, and I'm in love with his personal gate. In the Dining room and the kitchen, the light above the table is beautiful and the table is unique. That is a dream in a future kitchen of mine either to have a bar or an island in the middle of the kitchen. A trophy room wow I would feel so humble and accomplished every time I walked into that room. Oh shit, I didn't even realize the pool was a basketball that is so cool, having an island in the middle of the pool would never have thought of that before. Basketball courts omg I love the glossiness in the floor and a full court holy moly

It's "only" a $12Million home. Enes has been in properties worth nearly a $BILLION! But have you ever seen a lawn in such POOR condition in a home with an asking price of $12Mil? That lawn looks like Carl from Caddyshack had at it (and Bushwick was modeled after a golf course from the North SHore near Jordan's home).

Wow I looked at this property when it was first listed but you made it look so much better than just photos. You gave it story and made it feel really special and unique, because it is. So much potential, seems like a steal for the price. Can't imagine what something like this would cost to build now.

What's really impressive and impossible not to notice is the attention and work that were invested into the finest details in every bedroom, bathroom, wine cellar, common area, entertainment room, front entrance, kitchen, guest house, etc, etc, etc. Absolutely stunning interior design and construction.

I get some art deco vibes from this mansion, also very 90's vibes. Totally over the top.

Not bad for a kid from Wilmington, NC. I remember watching his documentary films from the early 90’s and his home before this one. Where his neighbors kids ran up to him and he threw a football in his backyard. Amazing he had this built from scratch and I bet it cost about 2.5m total. Finally, to think he owns this and never uses it anymore is insane. The maintenance on it alone has to be 100k a month easy.

He built this in the 90s which even makes it more impressive. It doesn’t look dated like most houses going back 30years would look. No doubt he’s done renovations of the years but this house is ahead of its time and the architecture doesn’t look out of place.

I love how they show the price, no nonsense or gimmicks. I see properties listed for a small fraction of this one on FB and social media, and to fin out the price you have to message them and do an entire rain dance, and once you contact them, you can never get them to leave you alone. It's unfortunate the buyer can't get rid of the 90's furniture by selling it. I personally would donate those outdated furnitures as well as those 90's NEC rectangular TV's. The floor on the kitchen needs updating too.

​@@freedomm There's mansions more or less expensive than this with indoor basketball court, bowling alley, theater, tennis court, etc and they're not even athletes. Of course, not many people need them, only the rich, important and famous who wants one and has the kind of lifestlye. And to have this lifestyle you know a lot of people too, not just your family. For them it is just enough.

1994 it was built. That’s why the property is hideous. It’s the worst decade for architecture. Especially for opulence sake. No one with that amount of money would actually want to live there. That’s just the truth. Fandom for Michael Jordan can’t fix how ugly that house is

The house has been for sale for 10 years... a great demonstration of super luxe custom homes- the person who builds it is the only one who loves it (or maybe can afford it).

Definitely too customised, why on earth would anyone buy a shrine to someone else. Not to mention it looks like a community college. 14 million dollars id build my own 🤣

Agree, Im a fan indeed but too customized and a new owner cant sell any furnishings to make it their own! Too 'nany refundant rooms, how to repurpose if cant get rid of any furnishings? This place not a home but a shrine especially e.g. MJ logo everyhere, design details for him alone& as stated on the sale none of the furniture can ever be sold! The idea for Chicago organizaton by it use it first as training, club events, etc best idea 1% or less would be interested buying this at any price! Again if it ca'nt be altered? removed? better have storage some where!

the tranquility emanating from the green spaces and the water elements just perfectly matches the rounded details of the buildings. In addition, it must also be emphasized that the building complex, despite its actual size, does not appear bulky at all, since the trees are very close. Just a great graceful living space

I used to look after the grounds on this property for Michael Jordan, I was also his personal vehicle manager, in charge of looking after all his cars, from 1998 to 2006.. what an experience I had working for Michael & his family 🙏🏻

You can tell from the design that Michael got his design ideas from being on the road. The house looks like a luxury airport terminal, and the bedrooms look like luxury hotel rooms. There's no warmth in the house. It's aestheticly beautiful, but cold.

That was an excellent observation. I was wondering why I wasn't attracted to the place even though it was luxurious. I loved your line "It's aesthetically beautiful, but cold." It reeked of excess too. I mean, how many sitting areas and full-size pool tables and bars does one need? This is my least favorite tour, but I'm happy for the guys who did the tour since it gave them joy to be in Michael Jordan's home. I enjoyed their joy, just not the home for the reasons you stated.

I don't know of a house that impresses me like this one. I was shocked since the first time I saw this house. I can't believe this amazing house. I congratulate the one who built it, it is strong if it were mine I don't see what I would look for outside other than to get some air and fly in the sky with my helicopter or my car which can roll in the sky

Great display of such a historic home. I use to drive up from Evanston around Sheridan Dr. and take friends to get a picture at the "23" gate when they came to visit. It was great when the team practiced at the Berto Center back in the day also. I worked for Jim Beam and our office building was just up the street so we could see the players parking in the rear when they came to practice. I've always said, If I could ever afford this home, I would use it as corporate space for fortune 500 companies to have retreat week, team building and corporate events. The staff have done a remarkable job up keeping a home that hasn't had residents for such a long time. I heard that the new owner also gets Nike and Jordan gear for life...

I just feel sorry for whoever buys that house next,,, trying to refurnish all 56,000 square feet, remove all the MICHAEL JORDAN stuff, and just make the house look the way he or she wants it to. I'm surprised Michael's buddy OPRAH didn't buy that house. Maybe she toured it but didn't want it.

@@ForceField9 If I'm paying for THIS home, NOBODY (not even MJ himself) is going to tell me that I have to keep the furnishings if I don't like them! A table that replicates the street system of BAGHDAD? WHY would any red blooded American want THAT in their home? It doesn't matter if there are only 10 in the world, where are the other 9, in IRAQ probably because other than MJ, who would want that? PLUS, to be stuck with it, no thanks.

The immaculate upkeep is beyond impressive! Great job with the tour of this amazing home!

There were a lot of doors I saw that weren't even explored. I would've loved to see the garage and the Primary bedroom. Pretty sure there was a safe room or a hidden door somewhere in there.
