Another exquisite home with unbelievable views. I love everything about this home. The textures, fabrics, furniturnings, indoor outdoor living it's just amazing. Why would anyone want to leave this incredible home.

The way they intruduced the sea into spaces through mirrors or reflective surfaces is just so nice. The architect actually thought about it and didn´t just clump expensive materials and furniture because yes. Those are the small details that show actual interest in the design.

I agree...that vegas home was the best home ...I believe...is the best home ever toured by Enes and Mikey. That is one beautiful home. Blue Heron does an amazing job. If I ever win the lottery, I would have BH build my dream home here in NC on the 2nd Broad river

Blue Heron really is on a different level with their projects. The open design, excessive water features, the multitude of colors, patterns and materials stands them out from other designers. I personally like the use of wood panelling and darker tones here, while most contemporary/modern designs are more fixed on glossy bright ones. Having so many wall-installed art pieces in there is also a big plus, many other homes simply leave most walls empty.

Every time you do a tour I’ve found the house of my dreams until you tour another out of this world property. Love it !!!! Thanks so much 😊

This has to be my favourite house ever done in CA. The developer thought of everything literally. Thank you guys for such a wonderful tour.

As a geologist I look at the unconsolidated material the house sits on and wonder when part of the house will land on the beach. Also...a mirror as a backsplash to the cook top? Good luck keeping that thing clean.

Wow this house is sooo gorgeous!!!!! View is breathtaking!!! If I lived there I would never leave, everything is there!! I used to live in Newport Beach, CA and you could hear the ocean waves crashing when falling asleep at night! It was so great!! U guys do such a great job in making videos, keep 'em coming!!! You can picture living in their homes and with the outside spaces being more important to me than the indoor spaces, I find Blue Heron’s outside designs very appealing. How do get to coordinate the "dusk" video portion of the shoot, with the protagonist mansion lit up like a Christmas tree and all the surrounding homes in complete blacked out mode? Do you go ask them to turn off their lights for a few minutes for the drone shot?

Vegas house was the best I have ever seen. No house is ever perfect but this one was exception.

Enes, I'm also familiar with the greater San Diego area and La Jolla has always been one of my favorite communities. I truly don't believe you could have built this beautiful house in a more picturesque location. What a breathtaking view of the ocean! Admittedly, I've never been much of a champion of modern house architecture, but this Blue Heron property really does capture my imagination, just like the one Mikey was referring to in LV area last year. I also agree on how appealing the ashwood cladding is, both inside and out. Just magnificent!

I was just about to write that on a general basis I'm impressed with California and the "views" but not the architectural designs of the homes regardless of how expensive the homes are. Well, This home is the most impressive design I've seen Enes cover in California. I wish I could afford it! This home makes the top 3 in no particular order of the homes Enes covered. The other 2 homes were both homes covered in Las Vegas which were also stunning!!!

The materials used in the structure of the house contribute to a lively appearance that is in harmony with the environment. The use of such a seating area by closing the curtains has provided a much warmer environment than the indoor cinemas that are usually built. It is very nice to use a bridge at the entrance to the house and create a sitting area under the bridge and the water to pour in the form of a waterfall and come under you. In addition, it is a nice detail that the sun will not cause much discomfort during the hot hours of the day, even if the top is open, since it is an area facing the east and opposite the south façade. If there was only one word to say about home, I would choose the word "View". It does not compromise the ocean view and at the same time presents a vivid image from the housing design to the furniture selections. It is possible to say that it is a house with much more detail than it seems. Even the sunrise and sunset directions seem to be taken into account in the natural light intake of the house. The ocean front of the house faces southwest and the light intake design has been made in harmony with this. Sun loungers and elevating decking facing south. This itself is a proof of the density of details. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please. In a nutshell, it has become a house that offers ocean life with a vibrant environment for a person who likes to be in touch with the ocean. Beautiful house. In addition, I do not know if it is due to its design, but it has a feeling of nest warmth.

Of course, it is not possible for me to know what the future of the house will be, but even if we look at the house as an investment, design is an important factor. After all, for a customer to buy this house, he must approve it with a feeling of spiritual and mental satisfaction, and therefore, the reflection of the designer's mastery on the design of the house is important as it will increase the added value of the house. I also try to evaluate the time I spend as a consumer of content on the channel and broaden my perspective while enjoying the works of designers. In other words, these houses can be an investment for some, the work of their lives for some, and a book they enjoy looking at for others. Really, "Nothing more nothing less." they are houses. But the fact that they are loaded with meanings, even as just a house, does not change. Putting aside the ocean view for a moment, this is the most interesting house I have seen on this channel so far. The designers have done outstanding work with beautiful textures and materials. Also, not one level or section of this house was left behind during the design process. Very dedicated designers. The staging, also, was spot on.

I lived in a waterfront home once and as spectacular as the daytime view is, the night view is total darkness….no lights unless it was the moon. Moved to downtown San Diego high rise and the view never ends…it’s even better at night. Gorgeous house here…

What's funny is the AirBnB my folks and I stay each year is located three miles away, closer to the bay. So close to this beauty.

Blue Heron does such an amazing job with these homes. They are so creative with the indoor/outdoor flows, use of water, use of courtyards, etc. Every home I’ve seen them design makes me want to design mansions myself. Taps into my inner kid. So much fun. Cool tour. PS: as many others have said, their home in Vegas you toured is still my all time fav. Cheers!

Beautiful home. The only thing I would add is probably some sort of glass barrier at the edge of the backyard for safety reasons. The edge of the cliff is only a few feet from the seating area.

Anyone buying a house like this on a cliff is probably a Bond villain… and would consider the easy, ocean-side disposal of enemies next to their laser equipped shark pool a feature.

Blue Heron really makes some cool designs! I still vividly remember the Las Vegas house and it's still one of my favorites on the channel. This house is amazing although I don't know how I feel about being so close to a huge drop off like that. Then again I have kids so I'm probably overly paranoid. Blue Heron really knows how to mix up colors and textures and depth. The pebble gardens under the sinks is a perfect example. The indoor outdoor flow and mixing of environments is just amazingly well done.

Totally stunning. The art is beautiful, particularly the ceramics. I would be very happy there!

I absolutely love this entire house with only a few exceptions. I would alter both first and second floor cabinetry so they didn’t look like the early 1970’s! I’m not a fan at all and can deal with it if I had to but would immediately change the cabinets if I were to ever live there! The rest of the house is fantastic! I love it! 😁❤️

I design swimming pools all over the area of this house and landscapes so I am in many of the homes here. I recall that cabinetry with the milky looking wash of stain. I have seen some ceilings like that too.

Great design! I love the blue lighting around the water areas in the evening.

More San Diego and San Francisco please! 😁 There's something about California that's very special.. Even though I've never been lol

One thing i really like about this property, is how dynamic it is. Expensive modern homes tend to have many big open spaces. This property is unique with its architectural shapes, making, each section feel more personal, yet still modern, luxurious and a statement in itself.

This house is amazing! All of my architecture ideas into one house

I love blue heron's work. My favorite by far is the 25 mil las vegas house you guys posted in august. But this is gorgeous too and what a view. I can't imagine being able to wake up to that everyday.

Great property. Congrats to Blue Heron on their location and seamless home in La Jolla. This home will hold it tranquility via its open plan design and year round ocean views.

Has anything been done to mitigate the erosion of the cliffs? Or is it just a chance you take with a 32 million dollar beach front property in California?

In about 20 years the Cliff Edge will migrate to the edge of the pool, so this house is in danger of falling into the Pacific eventually.

A lot of those houses right on the cliff aren't insured because insurance companies don't take the risk. If your house collapses and falls into the ocean, you are responsible for clean up fees, and the city charges you each day the clean up is happening

This will take years before that erosion reaches the house. As such, the owner is not worried since he or she won't live long enough for it to be close to the house. The house and land will also have appreciated in value. Therefore, it is a non-factor in this case for the current owner.

Great video, the house is amazing and I think it is so much more relevant when you bring in the designer of the home. And I really appreciate that you put more of your personal and professional experience. You have seen more houses than most of us and this is the added value of your tours! Good job : )
