Nowadays, at least in media, they actually pay their interns though. I think that's how it worked back in the day, but I've interned at a few large media companies (I'm in journalism) and they paid more than minimum wage and some, even, paid for my housing (the summer ones).

Toure was a great interview! Totally enjoyed it, covered a lot of great topics and perspectives. Will look for his podcast.

I have followed Touré from day one. He is always up and never down. I met him ten years ago and have pictures with him and I am so proud of every level of his success. No ego tripping at all. He is very intelligent and down to earth. And he looks good!!!!!!!!!

We have lived in a rape culture for so long often most men don’t even know when there behavior is aggressive and over powering and intimidating. There used to be a thought that a man is supposed to persuade and hunt sex from a women. That makes him a man. Women are supposed to not create a problem or issue keep everyone happy. This is in support of rape / harassment culture. Women often actually may be interested but not ready so it blurs the lines when the male does not see the signs with the ability to dissect what’s what. Powerful men often are used to getting what they want after they “xyz” this is difficult because it’s not street rape but it’s still one person forcing their will on another =rape

I like Charlemagne but he can be super hypocritical sometimes.. I respect Toure because he's consistent across.. The same circumstances and opinion he applied to the R.Kelly is the same he apllied to the Russel situation... R.kelly had due process and was acquitted of charges but he is yet crucified in the of public opinion based on allegations made by women we dont know... Charlemagne is quick to hop on that R.kelly which is cool but you gotta have that same energy and consistency across the board... Toure is tellin him the he has clear reason in this specific situation to believe Russel, a man he considers a friend carried out this act and Charlemagne is continually being hypocritical and tryin to discount him...

I think it depends on how big that celeb is as well as how long they been in the game. New rapper that’s on and poppin right now-don’t curse. Vet entertainers and long time friends of the show- they can curse.

funny how they're talking about bad interviews as Angela keeps cutting Toure off in mid sentence to, what it seems like, to hear her own voice . Her interjections are irritating I wanted to hear Toure finish his thought! dammit
