Beirut, Lebanon is an amazing city. It’s a city that’s been through a lot, but the people hold it together. In this simple and fun travel guide to Beirut, we’ll eat some delicious food and visit some of the famous sights of Beirut. #Beirut #Lebanon
Kamel - Feryal Boutique: / feryal.boutique
Feryal - Mouneh Boutique (goo.gl/maps/z3C9yuj8vRcKYTBU7) - Kamel and his family source the best food products and ingredients from across Lebanon. I bought some sour young grape juice and pomegranate molasses to bring home to Thailand with me. Go say hi to Kamel when you’re in Beirut!
Basterma Mano (goo.gl/maps/C5rrEn2jLyqnVsLS6) - The highlight here is the soujouk on the shawarma, and it’s delicious. The basterma is good too, but the soujouk was the winner for me. Soujouk Sandwich - 5,000 LBP ($3.32)
Mossis Restaurant (goo.gl/maps/uvH9ddd4NFXt27VC9) - Since we were in the area, Kamel knew another sandwich shop he’d been going to for years. We had roast beef, soujouk, and the kind owners gave us a plate of basterma on the side - delicious. Sandwich - 6,000 LBP ($3.98)
Al Falamanki Raouche - This is a cafe and restaurant serving all sorts of Lebanese food, and one of the highlights of coming here is to enjoy the amazing views of the iconic Raouche Rocks - Pigeons’ Rock. It’s not cheap, but a very nice place to hang out in Beirut.
Next on this tour of Beirut, we stopped at the beautiful Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque and Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in the heart of Beirut. And lastly, we walked along the gorgeous Corniche Beirut waterfront.
Hotel Albergo (goo.gl/maps/5ndJzdavkRBnV5oQ9) - We were invited for a rooftop sunset drink at the top of Hotel Albergo, a beautiful historical hotel in Beirut. The view was outstanding, and a perfect was to finish a day in Beirut.
Hope you enjoyed this simple Beirut travel guide!

To all fellow humans of the world, welcome to our beautiful Lebanon, it is one of the most underrated destinations in the world. What i learned: Beirut the city of chill spots
Wow! Beirut is a beautiful place.
Prayers for those who died and injured in Beirut. I spent 2 weeks as a tourist there about 3 years ago, great city....friendly people. The overlook where the rocks are was amazing, the city overall was amazing. Very hospitable people. We stayed at the Raouché Arjaan , had great fun and food. Anyone who has not gone needs to , you will be happy with your decision. It was very modern, a city reborn from the ashes of war, stunning really. Sunset in Beirut overlooking the water is something you will remember for the rest of your life. Took a trip out to Baatara Gorge....got awesome pictures and memories. Walking up and down Hamra at night was great (A bit touristy) but nice to see the area moving like a well oiled machine. Best part was the friendly and genuine people of Beirut, they were not just friendly for tourist dollars like other places, they are actually genuinely kind. I am extremely saddened by this turn of events. Very saddened to the heart and my sincerest prayers go out to the citizens there and families. Thank you for making us feel welcome and at home in your city. I wish your city and country well from America. May blessings be upon your families.
