To celebrate one of my favorite fiber art yarn spinning events, Tour de Fleece, I created this AI animated short film as part of the NAX + Ai project with the support of Entertainmint. Midjourney and Runway ML were used to create it.
The premise of the event is that each day cyclists race during the Tour de France, yarn spinners will make yarn with fiber. The days the cyclists rest, the yarn spinners rest too. They join teams, there are captains, and prizes are awarded as well.
I am the captain of a team called Team 80% and we post our progress in my Facebook group, Spin, Dye, and Create with Alanna Wilcox.
