Touhou 11 - Corpse Voyage ~ Be of Good Cheer! // Public Piano

♫ Welcome back everyone to a new set of Public Piano videos. Last week I went to the train station in my town. The piano is still intact. I played a total of 6 recordings. This one was the main one. I've been practising Corpse Voyage for quite some time now, it is actually for once meant to be in the E-minor scale so that makes it all good for me xd I hope everyone enjoyed!

Most likely I'll upload another try of this arrangement on my home piano at some point because I am not entirely happy with how this came out, quite a lot of mistakes for the amount of practise I put in. Will try again. I'm also working on more Harpsichord videos.
My main channel is in crisis right now, videos for the main channel take so much longer to make and it's so boring to edit MIDI sound for hours and I'm not very good at planning so what I wanted to upload has been delayed for weeks now. Oof

I never realized how melancholic this song sounds without percussion
So this is why Orin is always dancing so much.
So underrated, I always loved Rin's theme because of how many melodies it had (like 4-5 main ones?!), compared to the vast majority of Touhou themes, which are very repetitive.

Subterranean Animism is my favorite OST in the series. I love the melancholic vibe each song has.
The underrated boss song is finally played on public!

Oh, I really like Orin’s theme. It sounds so sorrowful yet so cheerful (pun intended). Good job with one! And I’m still trying to understand what that random guy said.

If I walk down the street and someone could play all my favorite songs I think I would put all my money on it ^^. Now with the internet there are sounds that everyone knows but even if some are not very well known I guess it's always nice to see the reaction of people when they know.

Nope. I've only had that twice, long ago. Both times I was playing UN Owen Was Her. A girl who had some mobile version on her phone and recognised it and the other was an Asian guy who was actually a fan. Never happened since

I wonder what was the reaction of the people when they heard the name of the piece xD
I honestly think you could play this and pass it off as some piece from an obscure classical composer, especially with how Alkan's solo piano works influenced ZUN's works.
