This is my favorite Touhou song, and I really like this version of it! Feels like the different parts have more of their own character instead of just being one manic race. Feels a bit more melancholic than the original.

Yeah that's true. I learned some about the history. It's one of the most amazing places I've ever visited. Insane artwork everywhere, ridiculously expensive stuff. But yeah that's what you get when you invest in the slave trade in the 1800s lol.

@@EpreTrollII Yep. Slave trade moved to slate. They had to pay their employees, but they still treated them like crap because the quarrymen went on strike. The place still leaves a bitter taste in the local's tongue because of it.

This sounds so amazing, it seems so perfect and fitting for where it is!

I imagine there was like, one person there that knows Touhou and went "is that... no; no wait, was that what I think it is?!"

Hahaha that’s literally 2 minutes walk away from where I work more or less. It’s an okay castle, bit modern for my liking being a stately home type of one.

Very cool arrangement. Makes me want to play piano again.

Imagine creating a game that inspired generations of other games with a legendary music that any internet user could recognize in seconds. Btw, a fun fact, Zun actually took some inspiration by classic composers. Septette for the Dead princess for example, has a sample of the Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (3 mov)
