Where disney beats knotts easily is with ride accessibility for most sizes and ages. Families go to the parks to do it together, bad miss knotts

The theatre area turned from the Campfire Theatre to the Knott’s Fyre Festival 😢 So sad and a severe misstep from a park that usually gets it right. I hope this isn’t the beginning of a disappointing future for Knott’s.

What a bummer for the opening but it was still great to see Monica in a VLog. You two are so funny together! 😂

It's honestly very sad to see this. There was legitimate excitement when it came to the rehaul of Camp Snoopy, but I'm not sure what happened here. I get they wanted to open something for the summer, but opening up this land when it's clearly unfinished is unacceptable to me. Also, that picnic area where the theatre used to be? That's.....that's very rough. We lost a theatre...for this. Pretty disappointing.

One thing I can’t stand about knotts is how they purposely have a lack of shaded areas to get you to spend $6 on drinks. Its a lame thing they do

They should have just let things quietly open one by one, which could have also created some buzz with people randomly discovering things that were open again. It would have also given them time to collect some real-time data for further improvements (like shading/protection from the elements in that picnic area). Once Camp Snoopy becomes more completed, then they could have done a big to-do. Definitely a miss for Knott's with this one.

I went today and waited AN HOUR for a 45 second coaster I barely could sit in. The car ride was nice, but the new grass area is the worst thing about this new land. I would have rather waited until the land was completely done to open it. I definitely think they will change the seats on the coaster and maybe put a test seat outside.

So at this point Camp Snoopy is NO FIRES, pretty sad state of affairs. I would hate waiting in line for coaster only to get 'denied.' The parents will be like: "Sorry Little Johnny but KBF messed again. Promised us a lot and do to budget cuts, we can not ride today." I got denied once at Magic Mountain for Batman when it first opened, my thighs did not let the lap bar go down. We waiting for almost 2 and a half, get to the boarding area, enter the coaster and sit down and lap bar is like: "Nope!" BTW that was years ago and my thighs' are still the same size. 😥😥😥😥😥for you KBF; maybe it will change; time will tell.

Those posts near the picnic tables... for shade? I'll happily be wrong, but I'd guess they're going to hang strings of lights from there. Knott's doesn't believe in the comfort of their guests. No shade, slow load and unload times, drink refill stations don't open until noon. It's a mess.

It's cause they had a last minute cancel of the theater which is where the picnic area is so there was going to be a roof. Who knows now

Grizzly Creek Lodge went down for renovations, reopened as Grizzly Creek Lodge to be renamed later, and that also wasn't today...

My mom was so disappointed and wanted to cry when she saw the stage was gone. She brought all of us when we were small, and now she was bringing my nieces and nephews before it was demolished. 😢😢

Waited 90 minutes for Snoopy's Tenderpaw Twister in direct sun with no shade. People cutting like crazy and at least 5-10 minutes between each dispatch. When I finally got to the part adjacent to the station there was a lot of arguing and I later heard it was because someone puked and it got on another child and they wanted free clothes, etc. Regardless, it was shut down for a while as we watched them clean and argue over handling soiled paper towels. At first I was confused why every time they opened for loading people would sit down and seemingly most people then got up, reshuffled or some left. I was a single rider and the woman who had been in front of me for the full 90 minutes was sadly turned away because the restraint couldn't go down all they way to the green zone. She asked if her son could ride with me, and I of course said yes, despite barely fitting myself. I felt so bad for her, but she was glad her son could ride. We agreed there needs to be some sort of tester before entering the queue. Getting turned away once you're in the car is all sorts of wrong. I absolutely love the animated props, though-the fish pond, the spinning directional sign that triggers when you speed past (kind of reminds me of Jurassic Park for some reason), and the swirling Woodstock on top of the building. They could work on the timing of those effects, but I love that they're there!

I feel like both new rides are an upgrade over what was there before. They are just so low capacity it's going to be a bit painful on busy days. All Camp Snoopy rides suffer from low capacity though. So this isn't anything new.

If someone could design kiddie rides with similar footprints but have higher capacity they would be heroes.

The Opening Ceremonies focused only the “SNOOPY'S TENDERPAW TWISTER COASTER “ and the “CAMP SNOOPY'S OFF-ROAD RALLY”

Someone at Cedar Fair has a lot of explaining to do because this rushed opening of Camp Snoopy was a big letdown! BRING BACK THE THEATER

The theatre needs to make a comeback but I think it is also sad that they took out the Camp Snoopy Store clock and the Snoopy with Woodstock in a canoe…

Knotts tried to do to much in a short amount of time. They should’ve done a couple of attractions at a time NOT all at once.

I know you are an ambassador for Knott's so thank you for being honest and not just saying everything was great. This is so heartbreaking to see. I know they needed to get it open for summer but half-assing it just ain't the way to go. Snoopy deserves better! Hopefully Knott's will really put some more love into this land because the initial concept video was so great!

We wish they would have just delayed the opening again. It was so disappointing this morning! That former theater space was just brutal with the heat too. Also, had a great time talking to your sister! Monica is fun!

Ya, it was bad and embarrassing. Sorry Knotts you get thumbs down on this Camp Snoopy. That picnic space is just so terrible I felt like they said " Well we have $20.00 bucks left over and extra wood let's just throw a picnic area over there and let's not finish that either because the rest of the land is not done so nobody will know the difference" I left after 30 min. The other thing that made no sense was the Camp Snoopy cartoons. They are showing 2 and people wanted to watch both but after one cartoon they kick you out and you have to come back to see the 2nd one in like 30 min. People seemed confused about why we were being kicked out when they wanted to watch the 2nd one like myself. They should just run continually or show both together. Sorry Knotts this is soooooooo underwhelming.

This video keeps me motivated to to never get a dad bod, so I can go on the ride with my kids 😂

Monica has the right idea. Instead of scented candles the stores should sell umbrellas or parasols.

Simple answer for the coaster, add one cart to the back that is bigger for handy cap and plus size.

Knotts is pulling a Disney. Opening up half done lands cuz they needed the land open. Removing the theater and providing no shade. Knotts has gone down hill and with Disney forward and epic universe and the new coaster at uni I think knotts might not be able to recover and this half a$$ land is a disappointment

It really seems like they focused less on “Family-friendly” and went more for “Kid-friendly” with the attractions out there

The off road road rally was the very first new attraction to start having technical difficulties delay on the first day of the grand opening of camp snoopy that was kind of the sad part I was this close of not going on off-road rally but i was there at the grand opening of camp snoopy

That’s the thing I hate about knotts, they don’t put up any shade during summer for nearly all their rides. they deliberately do this to get people to spend on their expensive drinks. Also, low capacity rides is all knotts has. Takes like 5 years to go on Beary tales on a somewhat busy day

When they announced the reimagining of Camp Snoopy they said their goal was to make it more family oriented. They wanted it to be where parents could ride with their kids instead of just watching from the side. The new swing that hasn’t opened yet will have 2 seats on each side where adults are supposed to be able to sit.
