Touching scene with Fey & Bateman. Love it.

Фильм және анимация

One of my favorite scenes of 2014. Both Fey and Bateman are great in it. "This Is Where I Leave You".

I disagree with Wendy’s point about how Judd wasn’t in love with Quinn because he didn’t notice she was cheating for a year. People can be really sneaky with affairs and the longer they go on, the more sneaky they get. Judd was probably so in love that he was blind to the possibility of Quinn doing that. I see Wendy’s point for sure but I don’t agree.

You can be in love with a woman and trust her and still not notice that she betrayed you. Some women are great actors. That is how he ended up getting her pregnant even through she was sleeping with another man. She probably preferred the father to be the other man (the bad boy) and if she hadnt been caught she would have let her husband think it was his child. That is the ultimate betrayal but sadly something so many women are willing to do.

She meant it. She did not cheat on her husband. Having remnants of feelings from the past is just natural. Women make it a point that their early years never leave them. Their siblings, teenage crushes, etc. remain important parts of women's lives. This to me is their own territory. Everything else in their lives is shared with husbands and then kids. I think it is a common thing for women to harbor feelings like Wendy had for Horry. Doesn't make them untrustworthy wives. This is what Wendy meant when she said she was not Quinn. This implies her feelings were natural but she was mature and honest enough to not allow teenage things to come in the way of her marriage.

2:00 he wasn't in love with his wife cause he couldn't catch her cheating for a year? Really? Sounds like she was low-key trying to justify Quin's cheating. Typical women. Many loving partners can't tell their significant other has been cheating for years, doesn't mean he/she wasn't loving enough,it means the other one is a very good liar and expert in hiding things.

Exactly what reason would he had had to suspect her? And it's obvious that Quinn is pregnant with HIS child she was still sleeping with him now if all of a sudden their sex life changed for no apparent reason you have cause if my wife and I are more or less sexy time as usual why would I ever suspect her? I will say I do like the direction Wendy takes this as instead of making Judd out to be a complete moron with a broken heart. She makes him realize while he didn't go the direction Quinn did he too had fallen out of love and was just existing in the relationship ship. And will llow him to move on quicker especially knowing he has a child on tbe way and that Quinn will always be in his life in some form. Well for the next 18 years anyway lol

  • @davidtherrien9949

@@yhiontop I agree but that's nit the point were talking THIS movie and about HER cheating on him. Of coarse men cheat too. But that's irrelevant to this movie. A shift in energy? That's not always true. Let's just take this movie, APPARENTLY they were still having sex right up until he caught her if she's pregnant with his child so what energy was missing? Since their day to day life isn't the point of this movie I'll use myself as an example I worked grave shifts her days. It would have been EASY for her to cheat as she had all night while I was at work. Like with judd/Quinn in the movie it would have been blind luck to catch her.
