Thank you for sharing your lovely experience on this resort. My wife and I are planning to go there in Jan 2022 and quite frankly I have zero experience about Punta Cana. At least with your video I got a better glimpse of what to expect. Gracias!

Holy Mother of God, that foods looks amazing! Watching all those sweets, meats, fruits, drinks make me ravenous! Im a simply man when I see a lot of delicous foods on the table thats means the hotel must be great. Those kind of things put a smile on my face! Thanks for that! Really great review! I'm here now. This is a very nice resort. There is definitely some very good food to be had at the various restaurants. I won't say that it is the greatest, however you will certainly not go hungry. 😀

I’ve really enjoyed this review, sooo good. Gulas are common here in Spain, you can get them in any supermarket. Good and easy way to prepare is just sauteed with garlic and some chilli flakes.

Hi, What a great review. Very informative, thanks. We are going to the Luxury Ambar next year and i was wondering if there is a small quiet intimate bar in the resort that is open in the evening, or are they all in the style of the main bar or sports bar. Thanks in advance, and your review made us go to your other travel videos and other channel. All I can say is Wow! You are so talented and hard working! 😊

Thank you very much! I’m happy you enjoyed my videos :) in the evening up to 10,11PM you can have all drinks you want in all restaurants. Later only Sport Bar and Lobby Bar are open in Ambar. There is also lobby of Aquamarine open with night entertainment where you can have drinks and different entertainment each night. And you can walk around the whole resort and use bars/lobbies of other Bahia hotels :) but best selection of alcohol is in Ambar lobby bar.

You didn't mention the Amaretto Apple drink in Portofino?! Best drink there for sure...the buratta salad is also my favourite! Linguine di mare is also good at Portofino.

I don’t actually drink that much to be so interested, but I remember that boys said that the lobby bar had really good, international and premium alcohols. I remember Baileys 😁

It’s vip club that is in the same building above Las Olas restaurant next to the beach. The access is for vip club card members, we don’t have it and we didn’t use this area. We just walked in to enjoy the view, make photos and videos and no one was there ☺️

Was it hard to get reservations at the restaurants?

I'm reading up on visiting Dominican Republic, it says to act preventative of malaria. Did you guys do anything to prepare for the trip? besides COVID precautions

In big resorts they use anti mosquitoes spray on all plants and bushes each evening. We had also our own DEET 50% spray when going out for excursions. There were few mosquitoes for the whole 2 weeks holidays, but to be honest much less than for example in our home country Poland ☺️

We booked it - Going end of July 2024. Anyone get sick from the water?

What is the safety like? This delta variant is scary

We visited DR in March, unfortunately I don't know what is the situation and restrictions right now.

For transportation to the Hotel. You used Uber, hotels transportation or other?
