My go to :)) .. I have been humming lines from this song for as long as time itself, if that makes sense.. The one phrase "Turn around bright eyes" I've probably said that to myself 10,000 times.. often when I have felt social pressures, you know, like stepping outside and being around people :)) ...
So the last song on the main channel "Rainbows Upside down" I had mentioned I was going to upload a cover, and instead recorded that song that night.. this was that file I was going to upload.. maybe Fate does exist, because now in hindsight, I am glad I did not upload this there. This is good, but I really think I want to expand on that opening melody and play it throughout the entire song, closer to the original.. But to do that piano melody, might have to go with a different singer. .. I am no Bonnie, but i will admit, this song works with a heavy edge
Warning.. there are three loud moments at the beginning, turn ye volume down to 9 :)) .. I don't though, I love it, and to me it feels incredible for that moment.. But yeah I usually muse around with this song as a warm up before doing any sessions .. I've probably recorded this a 100 times, just to dump all the files.. well because the next song starts.. And file management is a serious issue..

love this song. Funny that I haven't listen to this for years, and last Karaoke session with the hubby it came up and really enjoyed singing it. Great take on this classic

Oh.. so that means you can sing it ;).. those first verses are quite the challenge, I am pretty sure there is a very strong backing vocal carrying half the lines

@@littlewarcovers It's been so busy today, musically.. 3 projects trying to finish up, one is just so gut wrenching.. 2 nights ago a friend of 35 years, who I havn't talked to in probably 20 years tracked me down and wanted a video call.. so he's literally on his deathbed (just hours to a few days) .. All he wanted was for me to play the guitar for him.. I've been crying ever since :(( .. so I also wrote a song for him.. not sure why I just dropped that on you.. been a strange week worthy of a book :)) .. project #2 with a piano player.. its very short duets for tiktok if I come up with words would you like to do a quick harmony/melody over it? it would be like a half verse :)) kzread.info/dash/bejne/qK17maltYMSndMo.html

Lost someone we had not kept in touch but 10 years were very close with, last week and unexpectedly 😥not sure if related or still not back to my normal rhythm after the holidays, but not feeling very productive at the moment. Look at you tiktoking (made a new word?). Not a fan of that social media, but what you created sounds really good :) and would be a very short thing, depending on time...

@@littlewarcoversSorry for the loss..My thoughts, if it was worth mentioning, and you have had your own memorable thoughts about this individual, then it might be safe to say it is draining some of your energy.. I would also add, respectfully, no one ever wants to get back into that routine after holiday.. .. oh TikTok, yeah I can’t stand it, it is divisive, full of misinformation and is not good for the social fabric of civilization.. I’ve walked away from it a few times, only to return with wanting to confront a lot of the negativity there with art. .. I’ll revisit that little piece of music a few weeks plus .. see how you’re feeling on it then .. oh, just don’t let your callouses go away, that’s alway a pain rebuilding them 😉
