My husband and I cycled that route before the cycle track was made, so looking forward to riding on it soon when we are out, as I don’t enjoy cycling on busy roads. Wonderful to have Los montesinos on between the lakes. Please do visit Mike & Yvonne the next time you pop down, Las Nin(m?) fas. Mimi the owner, is lovely lass . Very nice selection of top tapas! Good beer and wine. Always assured of a warm welcome from a long established cafe bar. Jose and Maria the previous owners were so lovely. Happy times and days, their paella was outstanding! Many a holiday accommodation in La Herrada too ❤ and many visits for drinks & food in Los montesinos!

Interesting to see the new bicycle track and the roundabout. Lots of changes on that road since I lived Pueblo Bravo, Quesada in 2018.

Nice one. I didn't know they were doing a cycle track. I used to go down the road from the garden centre then take first road on left. You can circle round into Montesinos on some very quiet roads.

Hi Graham, we are here for 78 days this time, as we have to save a few days for my nieces wedding in June, in Mallorca. And then be able to come back in September. Hi MIke and Yvonne. I'm sure I've asked this before Mike but I'm going back to Algorfa in August and wanted to take the DJI mni 3 pro. Wondered what license or permissions you need to fly the drone in Spain. Loved the Montesinos video, been there loads of times as we regularly go to Algorfa. Thanks

Hi Gary, you will need to register your drone in Spain and also pass the European drone exam. It sounds like a lot but it is quite easy once you have been on their website and seen and studied the drone laws in Europe. It's almost the same as what you have in the UK with the CAA. @@IamGaryRichardson We will be over next, after this trip, in late August, but more like early September. We haven't planned it yet as we have somewhere else to go in the Schengen and don't know how long for which may mess up our 90 days so we need to plan our next trip very carefully. Hopefully, at some point, it would be nice to bump into you in Torrevieja....

You are pretty far from optimal seat position on your bikes.I don’t know if it’s because of comfort of having electric bikes and you don’t care, but if you want to get less tired in typical use, increase the height considerably so you almost straighten your leg in the lowest position. Rule of thumb is reaching the ground with your toes when sitting.
