I'm from the Golden Horseshoe and have lived in or around Toronto for the majority of my life. There's nothing else quite like it. It may not be as old, big, or as full of attractions as other cities, but the neighbourhoods, the mix of parks and urban life, the beaches, the Island, the music and the cultures offer a lot. You can have just about any kind of food you could want. There's always something going on, and the crime rate is also really low for a big city.

I feel sad I'm not born in Canada 😢😢😢😢I will study hard to immigrate anrd live there

I LOVE Toronto. Friendly people, wonderful sights, and delicious food (Canadian dairy is a MUST!). The people here are very open & accepting, gay marriage is legal & gay couples hold hands while walking down the street like it's no big deal. Healthcare is free & the food is generally healthier than most American foods. Niagara is also a must, which everyone must see before they die.

Hi Expedia, great video, but this video needs to be updated in a couple more years! Include the Toronto Sign, Nathan Philips Square, The new aquarium, Yorkville, the TIFF lightbox, and maybe add a bit more emphasis on the neighborhoods, such as Queen west, or the entertainment district. Maybe promote a walk through the Oxford-esque University of Toronto. The music needs to be changed to something more energetic, because people in the city have been more excited in recent years about everything, new sights and sounds, new construction, better sports teams, the growing music scene. Expedia reaches millions of viewers so hopefully a new video can be done that does Toronto justice.

You included some really lovely shots of the St. Lawrence Market in this video, and even zoomed in on a sign advertising peameal bacon sandwiches, but never explicitly pointed out the significance of peameal in the script. Peameal bacon is to Toronto what poutine is to Montréal, you see. =) Many thanks!

There is so much more I agree. I felt like Toronto is much more lively than this... include things like Queen west shopping. King west bars. All the events that take place in the summer - outdoor concerts, mac and cheese day, beerfest, ribfests, caribana, pride parade etc

I'm from toronto but live in Australia now. It's not my most favourite city to visit but its a city that's still completely different to any other I've visited. It'll always be home!

I felt in love with this amazing country, i watched the video in 2015 before going to those wonderful places and consider Canada is simply AMAZING.

It's been a decade since I saw these beautiful waterfalls, yet they are still fresh in my memory. Wish someday if opportunity knocks, I will revisit

King Of Boston well if there are 100 buildings in Seattle there are 1000 buildings in Toronto. If Seattle's buildings are built in 1990, Toronto's buildings are built in 2005. Why do you look at 1 or 2 buildings. Look at the overall downtown. Its huge!!! Its close to Chicago. At night, Toronto's skyline looks even better. The lights are beautiful. Seattle goes to sleep at night. Seattle's downtown is just too small. Toronto's blue skyline looks beautiful from Lake Ontario. The video here does not do justice.
