The worst traffic. The highest taxes (as a country), we have spent more in 8 years than ever before, the highest housing prices, the worst regulatory system (also with the highest price), the highest inflation, the highest cost of living, the lowest rate of wage increases.. man Sid, your boy JT is killing it.

Scandinavia has higher taxes, Monaco has highest housing prices, Canada isn't even in the top 20 countries on inflation, USA has worse wage increases. Yeah things aren't the best here but there are plenty of countries that have it worse.

Toronto was fine in the seventies, drive anywhere, loads of free parking...the population grew, the city itself grew, and in all that time the roads were ignored, city is still growing, and the problem gets worse every year, and still nothing gets done.
Older parts of the city simply aren't designed for bikes. A bike lane should never share the road with cars unless there's some sort of barrier or even a curb separating bikes and cars. Bikers. Why would you want to drive right next to big metal vehicles that weigh thousands of pounds? Can kill you in a second. Sure it's not your choice. So don't get mad when cars block you or come close. Because it isn't drivers fault either.
Soooo glad I moved away from Toronto and NEVER have to commute there again. Have fun folks!
Sid gets very passionate about his opinions on any subject and that's why I like watching him every morning.
I thought it was so bad back in 2010, I packed up and left. I moved to a city 10 times smaller and don’t regret it.
I have been to London and Dublin and have lived in Toronto for many years. The issue with traffic in London and Dublin is that the streets are narrow but also not straight line, lots of turning. Also, the lights are not synchronized in London and Dublin. In Dublin, not many highways especially in and out of downtown core. In Toronto, we have the Gardiner and DVP but those cities dont have direct highways in and out of the city.

What's your point ?
#1 in worst traffic achieved!....#1 taxed in progresss. .... By the way worst in traffic is not due to driver distractions..its fkn never ending construction, unncessary bikes lanes [which are seldom used] and 1 lane road with a snail street car

We are already 1 in being taxed
Sids big head is blocking the freeway!
You have never been to Los Angeles and Mexico City--that makes Toronto traffic look like a farm land
Thank god for my entire working career I lived and worked in Mississauga. When the company merged, more like shoe-horned three warehouses into one big building in 2016 it was even closer at Hurontario & 401. I live close to Mississauga & 401 (Meadowvale North) 15 mins (no freeway) drive on a good day. Maybe an 1 hour drive home on a bad snow day. I also worked the early 6 am shift so traffic was always light on the main roads. I would never work or live in Toronto.

I started my career in the 2010s well before Covid would change Ontario and much of the rest of the world for years, if not decades, to come. During that first decade of my career, working, mostly from home was something I had gotten to do from 2013. Following the ends in March 2020 of two part-time away-from-home jobs, I have worked mostly from home but remain open to working away from home if the job makes financial sense. As so many jobs out there, do not adequately take into account the cost of using Uber or Lyft, it is likely that if I do happen to find an away-from-home job, it’s likely to be close to public transit.
With all the empty bike lanes and cafe/ restaurants on the road. It takes 3 - 4 times longer to get anywhere. Really bad for the environment😢
And Doug Ford's biggest concern is contracting out good paying jobs at the MTO. Nothing about fixing the health care situation or any infrastructure. Nothing about limiting immigration. It's chaos in our hospitals.
Whats up with everyone cutting 10s😂😂😂
I think if we get bikes lanes bikes should pay a tax for using the road just like the cars
World class city with world class problems that they were never prepared for . I came back to Ontario in 2016 then again 3 years later and it was worse each time. I haven't driven downtown in many years . 401 QEW 403 400 at one time the weekend traffic was barrible now heading to Niagara better pack a lunch , heading north even the other roads are jammed 27 north Hwy 11 . I lived by the 401 around 10 pm at night the hwy became quiet , now there is a constant hum well past 10pm to early morning hours .
Extend Allen Road down to Spadina using tunnels. The city does not have enough infrastructure to handle the traffic coming into the city. Toronto is a commuter city. One example is the business district. At night the population is 20,000, during the day it is over 250k. Over a million people commute into the city daily. Make Black Creek and Weston roads expressways into the city.

Despite the pandemic, downtown Toronto’s population still grew by 16 per cent, so that was seventh-fastest in Canada. So did the pandemic slow population growth within the city? Yes. Was that slowdown equal across the area? Not necessarily.” Downtown Toronto remains the most populous downtown in all of Canada with approximately 275,000 residents and is the second-highest densely populated downtown in the country (around 16,000 people per square kilometre, and for comparison the borough of Manhattan has around 22,000 people per square kilometre You can read more about this if you Google search Population of Downtown Toronto, CityNews
You had a guest on and he got to talk for a whole 23 secs out of 5 mins lol
Did you know that Mexico is in North America too? Have you been in Mexico City? I dare you
Toronto has run out of roads. Also many cars are slow to respond to a green light. Drivers on their phones not concentrating on brake and gas pedals!
Remember these are the good old days in Toronto…Keep repeating that over and over. These are the good old days!
Toronto is now Toroffto
Always Construction....

That’s what happens when you build condos everywhere. Need more sewage capacity, upgraded water mains, more electricity, telephone, internet cables etc. All that infrastructure has to be increased to meet all the population growth that people keep voting for. So they tear up all the roads and pass the costs onto the taxpayer…
We have the worst traffic but you are concerned about the speed?
Bike lanes. Get rid of them.
On a Friday or Saturday we drive down young street then back up a couples time and have no problems. Wouldn't even think of now .. Especially when the leafs Jays Raptors Argos , concerts .
time for one way streets....rid of streetcars...
Just insane. Toronto is not a happy city rn
When people have lost their minds in these end times of pride they don’t know how to drive
Toronto thrives in confusion and frustration daily…No city does it better!
Toronto also has the worst mayor in North America as well!
Why am I not surprised
Toronto officially has the worst traffic in North America!.......And i wounder WHY!!!!

We need to improve the public transit system in Toronto to free up the roads. Our subway system is a joke compared to world class cities!

A joke, come to Winnipeg... then you will see a joke... we don`t even have freeways here! Winnipeg was never designed right in the first place, and now overpopulated ..try driving in that!...across town used to take 20 min...now it is an hour and 20 min at 8am .
Well, take a good look at Bloor Street and college, lanes taken away by bike lanes that are always used six months of the year and some don’t even use it!
Just one more lane bro, that will fix everything. Please bro, I know we said the same thing last time but I promise this time it will work bro. One more lane bro please bro. -Some politician
one guy to blame
Sid is the only real one on the show.
Worse than LA or New York ya right lol.
Plus, worst government plus worse weather plus worse housing plus worse economy plus worse costly plus worse nastiest people
Good luck Toronto! You are screwed forever😂😂😂😂

Canada is too! We are third world!
I love drivers complaining about ‘traffic’. Folks: you are the traffic. COVID reduced the transit ridership & ppl got in their cars. But, transit is so packed and unsafe that folks who did not drive to work, started getting in their cars. So, improve transit and make it safer! Start building a downtown subway line. FINISH the LRT (Metrolinx). When, I biked to work, I got to work faster than those who took TTC and those who drove. Those in cars are more stressed and hate the commute; bikes are not the problem. Our reliance on cars in major cities is part of the problem. Terrible transit is part of the problem.
Officially ?whos the government in charge of that piece of legislation better call the House of Commons .goodluck?,or parliament hill somebody cares but they don’t work on domestic problems just everybody else’s .much to complicated!
Worst traffic in North America? Yeah right I guess you never driven in LA, NYC or Mexico City
Life is too short to sit in traffic. Find some other way to make a living. No one is in a better position to change your life than you.

The problem is that this issue effects so many people that not everyone can afford or has the means to make drastic changes. E.g. we can't all start to work from home. It would be great but it's not possible. There needs to balance & we're failing at achieving that.

Easy to say.
Time to make capsule cars like in dbz and have them fly too
Like we needed you to tell us this. Many thanks to the Toronto Council of Idiots.
You should stay in Mississauga! I don't agree with this show becoming a political circus. I liked the old format! Bring it back please.
intro song
Can’t stand Toronto filthy and expensive thank god I live far far south.
Get rid of the bike lanes, and street cars. Those 2 things are a major reason for the traffic congestion in the city. Transit should be built underground, and get the bikes off the road like Sid said.
I wanted Artuo Gotti , what did I get hmmm
Why doesn’t science or people have power and control over life and death who does by spirit 😂
"we need to add those bike lane infrastructure" ... yes, lets just make the traffic problem worse.. Good thinking... I'm sure you're also the same person who also thinks that climate change is a real issue that the carbon tax can fix... More and more people are buying ICE cars, and yet we are still thinking about adding bike lanes, only to make the congestion worse, and make cars idle longer... good thinking.
How about political incompetence?
There will not be new freeways or added driving lanes on roads in Toronto. There will just be new transit projects and bike lanes in an attempt to get vehicles off the road.
😂😂think not. Ever been to India or China or USA
I left Toronto many years ago to live in Dog River Sask, best decision I ever made.

Boo hoo.
Toronto needs to move away from cars
My faith is GOD alone who created the heaven and the earth and man by spirit One I Am
How is any time a safe space only GOD and Satan by spirit power and control this world 🤷🏼♂️
Let me save you 5 minutes so you don't have to listen to Sid's brain dead opinions about bikes. Greater Tokyo Area does not have wider lanes than the Greater Toronto Area. What they do have is a much expansive rail network. Most street parking is not allowed, and to be able to purchase a car, one must provide proof of parking space (Shako Shomei). As a result they can move a population of 40 million people much more efficiently than we can with our 7 million people. The difference between us and them is that they realized almost a century ago that there are better things than cars! While we keep importing their cars, they keep using that money to build more trains! Take the train Sid, it's better for your health, instead of losing your mind over bike lanes!
Toronto is one of the worst cities in the World. Good luck with your useless TTC, poor road designs and preoccupation with cycle lanes that frankly don’t get used except in the downtown core where students live

Even these ridiculous bus lanes they're doing in the gta makes no sense. You'll see traffic on highway 7 or young street. When you look over to the bus lane you'll see maybe 2 or 3 people waiting there.
Two words.. BIKE LANES!
Toronto also has the worst morning news teams.
