I swear Iowa protects Illinois and Wisconsin from most severe weather. Over the course of my life I have watched Iowa get hit hard and they'll peter out before it gets to Southern Wisconsin. Iowa always gets the worst of it

I heard weird noises above the clouds back and forth. I thought it was a truck or something but it went on and on. Then it stopped for a few minutes then started again. There was lightening to the north and south. But the same noise continued. I was so scared! The sirens didn’t go off. I gathered my purse and flashlights. Then it finally stopped! I wonder if it was a tornado flying over our community. Fortunately we were safe! I usually enjoy a storm but not this time!

This is not Random, this is the 6th Massive Tornado Outbreak this Year, blowing up Towns in TX, OK, MO, IA, KY, AL, MS, KS, LA, NE. Global Warming is now eating the Breadbasket of America. It doesn't matter if Your House was crushed when your entire town and Economic Viability was torn apart. Jobs Lost, Deliveries Cancelled, Business like Crop distribution not coming back for a while. There was one town in NE I think and it was hit twice in 4 weeks.

Is it getting worse? Are storms intensifying quicker? Texas, Houston area got hit two years back to back. I lived here all my life and in what I remember, Tornados weren't something to be concerned about. Strong thunderstorms yes possibility if tornados yes. Actual tornados no. Another thing I noticed at least with the last two years which is not enough to identify a pattern is the Winds picked up speed and 2023 tornado strengthen as soon as it got to where all the chemical plants are located. I think changes in climate should not be dismiss their is no way that we are putting what we put out into the atmosphere chnage the landscape and it not have some type of influence o. Our planet. Is like saying we can eat sugar, drink alcohol and smoke and it not alter our body or are least effected.

@natali98082 The Jarell TX tornado in 1997 had the most impressive damage of any tornado, or natrual disaster ever. Only 180 miles from Houston. Entire subdivision reduced to nothing but concrete slabs, not even the bodies or debri were left. The tornado took everything with it and the body parts of those in it were found scattered up to a mile away. It also ripped asphalt from the road, dug 18 inches into the ground, ripped the plumbing from the foundations, and removed the skin from cows. They identified people from finger prints and teeth. Nowadays we have the internet, so everyone hears and sees everything right away. There's been many much worse storms than this, it's just everyone didn't know about them or see them before.
