I was able to participate in the 2020 OMEA Solo and Ensemble Adjudicated Event, unlike last year when bad weather canceled it. For my solo, I performed Tornado by Mitch Markovich, and I received a superior rating! I've wanted to play this extremely hard solo since freshmen year, and I was finally able to do that as a senior. Enjoy!

Ah yes, this takes me back. I played this for S&E back in high school too. It's a cool solo and you did a nice job!

Thank you! As you can probably tell, it's only being played at a speed of 100-110 bpm instead of the written 130. That speed is just impossible considering the length and some of the licks. I don't know anyone who can hang that long at that speed.
i was supposed to go to state with this solo but corona had other plans 😔
