Tornado Circulation Passing Over House - St.Louis Mo. Supercell Storms 6/28/15
Ойын-сауық
Supercell Thunderstorms in St.Louis Missouri with multiple tornado rotations embedded in the storm. This just happened to be one of the circulations in the storm that passed right over my house. More rotations northwest of this one produced large wedge tornadoes in St. Charles County with debris ball on radar.

That siren really gets the point across
When I saw that the St. Louis metro had another large tornado i was like holy because I remembered the EF3 back on May 31, 2013 and the damage that thing left behind.
I live in a town where we rarely get severe storms. I grew up with a bad fear of storms, but watching videos like these are entertaining.
It's so funny how you get so excited bc I do the same thing it's great

Tornado sirens are going off!!!! There will be a Tornado warning!!!
How many warnings did you all get? Do you think the wind was from a circulation? That was very intense winds and rain. I saw the rotation in the sky on the video.
Is that a tornado?!!!
when ever you said THEIR IS A ROTATION OVER YOU i got the chills and when i saw it in my head i was like HILY SHT I SEE IT and thats when it got worse and i hope ur all ok

Looks like the rotation is rain wrapped
I think storms are amazing
We just had a tornado watch as well
The way I see that it look like a rain-wrapped Tornado, it looks like a Gustnado which it's a weak rotation which cannot damage anything. Although that is very cool looking rotation, and good capturing the CG. =)

***** A Gustnado happens on the leading edge on storms with strong straight line winds and would have appeared on the ground, not in the sky. This was one of many rotations that the supercell storm was producing that kept shifting all around the SW flank of the storm. It was very cool to catch and I was waiting to see if it would touchdown but it was embedded in the much core of the storm and was being cut off by lots of rain around it.

joshthesupertagger I don't know if you had radar I assume so but what amazed me about this storm is how fast this thing spun up near St. Peters in st. Charles county, we saw a rotating wall cloud then 5 minutes later warning came out then it touched down. But the speed of which is blew up was amazing.
I bet that was scary having a tornado over your house
Hey Josh if you want to know the names of the sirens that you have around you here is what they are Whelen Vortex R5 Whelen-WPS-4004

We don't have the vortex kind. We just have the layered plate kind all over the city and county. St. Charles have vortex Whelens though.
