@@rebornreaper194 a very old youtube series. It was sort of a roleplay where the different runescape gods interacted. the guthix at the start of the video is a reference to it.

1. We would never fight guthix, he's the god of balance. The most morally responsible and the strongest. 2. Guthix would be by far the strongest thing every shown in osrs and not beatable in any normal sense by the player.

@@Capybarainahumansuit hes not quite the strongest god, i guess he is the strongest "ascended" god (mortal who became a god through use of the stone or other artefacts), but there are a few entities that were "born" as gods who are stronger, eg Zaros, Seren and Jas which im sure are named/referenced in OSRS, but then also Wen/Bik/Ful/Mah which you have to go digging / do RS3 quests to learn about) i think you are correct that Guthix is way to strong for the player to fight, as are most of the other gods though

Keep guthix safe!

The Stone of Jas was what really kicked off the Mahjarrat power struggle and later on the gods came back to Gielinor after the Seal of Guthix had broken. I don't expect it to become the same story arc as RS3, but I expect an epic story being kicked off by the struggle for the Stone of Jas.

Personally, I really hope we don't end up fighting the literal gods. Part of the draw to the OSRS story for me is that we're just kind of a guy. Sure, we've killed a lot of strong things, but we aren't "The Chosen One." We usually just kind of wander in and get caught in things. Killing gods feels more out of place than even the strong monsters we deal with now. Plus then we can never have something stronger, what's stonger than the literal creator of the world and his friends that he single handedly banished from said world.

The fact that osrs lets content creators upload videos to their main channel says a lot about how awesome this game is. Most companies wanna dump tons of production into a trailer. This approach is so genuine and I honestly enjoyed a content creator's approach over the generic game trailer. Good shit osrs team 💪

omg, I used to love watching TehNoobshow when I was younger!

I really wish EoC was never introduced and that the game didn't split like this because we actually used to be able to get decent drop rates because the team wasn't petrified of power creep at the time. TD's drop a set of *fully complete* non-bastardized Dragon Claws at a 1/256 rate on RS3. Here, in component/upgrade scape you have to get a drop that is a 1/625 chance (according to the wiki) not once, but twice to get a dumbed down, weaker version of Dragon Claws. Gotta love that the "Old school twist" they like to talk about is simply translated as worse and more time to acquire.

In fairness, most of what we got shown was in the original quest back in '08. Still an odd choice, but I can almost see where they're coming from with it.

The staff special attack is interesting. If you can get it right, it's unlimited special attacks for the final hits. Sounds nice for slayer

I get into the lore of most games I play, especially rpg/MMOs. I've played RS since 04 and osrs since launch and I couldn't tell you more than 2 minutes of lore 😂

​@kennwan9917 Its just too bland. Needs voice acting and more cut scenes instead if actual chores like repeatedly pulling levers. Also quests are spaced out across like 20yrs so it's incredibly easy to not understand or care

The bow with dragon arrows is functionally similar to a bowfa WITH OUT armor, it's still slightly worse but it's very close. So no, still grind your bowfa

Over 100 KC and I don't think I've ever been more disappointed. The standard drop table needs to be heavily buffed It is an absolute joke right now 100 KC and have made 310k that's absolute garbage. The drop table in RS2 was 100 times better

I got the synapse 22 kc and made the bow...it's definitely bugged or it's power has been explained terribly. Max hit 33 on abby demons with dragon arrows, off task....BOWFA much better!
