I agree, theres got to be someone out there.. I think I remember CBC ( Canadian Broadcasting Corporation ) was fairly silent though when they showed it.

I thought I remember hearing the whole crowd joining in this song when I watched this on tv. Va Pensiero, i think is like a second national anthem in Italy(like "God Bless America" or "America the Beautiful" is here the US)> Maybe I am thinking of a different performance or recording.

Yes, these are Piccoli Cantori di Torino, conducted by Carlo Pavese. The recording was done for this occasion, but unfortunately not released, so you can't find it on itunes. We don't have it either. Greetings.

le uniche identità storiche CONDIVISE del nord riguardano la nascita dell'italia.. altrimenti si era qualcuno con gli austriaci(lombardo veneti) qualcuno sotto l'influenza francese.. qualcuno tedesca.. se poi il tuo discorso riguarda il confronto con il sud... senza essere maleducati, ti risponderei e grazie al ca... è come se un provenzale viene messo a confronto con un bretone o alsaziano.. oppure un andaluso con un basco o un catalano.. e potrei continuare all'infinito..
