My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed 15 metres away while she was inside. She was displaced from the driving seat to the passenger seat. I thank God she survived without any injuries except swellings. After checkups, the baby is 100% okay. God is great.👏👏

I lost my place, my girl and I broke up, and I was in deep pain from my friends betraying me. I started fasting and I only played this song for 4 days. I rededicated and surrendered my life to Jesus. Agreed and yes the Word of God is in itself perfect to help us know God more, Christ and what He's done, and realize how completely dependant we are Him. To person who said, "you don't even need that". I hope your not indicating that we don't need the Bible, the living word of God, to create a song of praise and recognition of Him over us. I just wanted to ask for clarification. The word alone, is God inspired and absolutely necessary to sing a praise with knowledge, appreciation, and a heart full of recognition of our condition without God, only His word, by the Holy Spirit.

This is my personal testimony. I used to believe that I was super strong, super smart, capable of taking care of myself, and even though I have always been a believer, my faith in God wasn't as strong as it was in myself. Two years ago I had a serious personal problem with my family, without going into details; at that point, my family was my God, they were the reason I live for, in other words, my "EVERYTHING", but due to the issue with them one day they ALL, everybody abandoned me, over the night... I was left without anything and anyone to talk to. Months passed by, on which I couldn't sleep, lost my appetite and also my will to live. I pretended for a while that I was fine ‘cus I full of pride so I couldn’t admit that this time I wasn’t gonna be able to fix myself…until I couldn't take it any longer. One night when the pain was unbearable, and desperation took over me, finally, I realized that I couldn’t keep living that way, so I started planning how to kill myself, I gave some thoughts to the idea because I wanted to be effective and final, I needed to stop the pain but before I did it I got on my knee, very angry with God, at 3 something am, I screamed to God "IF YOU CARE ABOUT ME, DO SOMETHING BECAUSE I CAN'T DO THIS ANY LONGER!!!, I AM A GOOD PERSON AND YOU KNOW IT!!! I CAN'T TAKE THIS PAIN ANY LONGER!!! I DON'T WANT THIS LIFE ANY MORE!!, IF YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING I AM!!! IF YOU SAVE ME I PROMISE I WILL DEDICATE THE REST OF MY LIFE TO YOU!!!” After this, all I remember comes to me like a flashback, I swear, I don't know how I got back to my bed( my last memory was been in my knee by my bed). Later on( I am not sure how long it passed), on this flashback I opened my eyes for a second and my room was full of extraordinary light, so strong I couldn't keep my eyes open, I was on a fetal position on my bed, my room was full of Jesus’s presence(I didn't need to see his face because the love and peace that overcame my body, the feeling that fulfilled my inner being was screaming the existence of Jesus in my bedroom). I woke up at 10:35am as A TOTAL NEW PERSON, I felt like I have lost a heavyweight I was carrying on, I was radiant, hunger, happy and full of hopes and plans for my life... Jesus saved me! he cleansed my spirit from evil desires OVER THE NIGHT! just the way my family forsakes me. I have been wanting to give my testimony for almost 2 years, I guess the Lord decided that today was the day, he is REAL people, he is, and all we have to do is to redeem ourselves to him and ask for help, he is waiting for us to do so, this is mentioned in the Bible on Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” We don't have to suffer alone, Jesus died for us, so we can live an abundant and long life. My feeling towards my family hasn’t changed at all, if anything I love them more than ever, nor I hold any negative feelings against them, I still will give my life for any of them, the only difference now is that I will ask Jesus first if he is ok with this. To the Lord be the glory! God bless you all.

It's not a comeback just because someone releases new music. They have to be hot, then fall off the radar with subsequent music, only to triumphantly return with hot music like they used to. This doesn't describe her. Especially since this is a different genre than her previous recordings.

It's almost time for me start living in the professional world and stop being a student. And I'm so glad I got back with Lord after some years of backsliding. I always feared being corrupted by the world I am entering because of my brittle convictions in life. The Lord gave me guidance during my transition phase to stand firmly in His ways and not be swayed by the practices of this world. I will continue to pray for this.

You know, i was in jail for a while. Again. But i would borrow a portable radio from another guy, and scan the stations for some normality. This song was on the Christian station. I never knew the name of it until i was released n went looking. IT LITERALLY GOT ME THRU , GOD HELPED. Im no angel, far from it, but i cry as a free man wen i listen to this. I cannot explain how i feel, or would i try, for God is indescribable. Thankyou holy spirit, father, and thankyou Tori, my lil old jail time in 2020 in Australia, u all touched me so much. Have always loved her voice and the fact that she also sings Gospel and is vocal about her beliefs in God. She seems super genuine also. Not a lot of artists left in this world like her. I think it would be amazing if she did another Gospel song or album. Psalm 42 is also my favorite. She's definitely been my favorite female singer for many years. My heart dropped when the news came out that she was rushed to the hospital and was unconscious. But everything happens for a reason and God already knows the outcome. 🙏

I knew she was different the first time I ever heard her on mainstream radio. I never forget when the singing competition show told her no and then all of a sudden somebody snatched her up and she blew up. She really loves Jesus with all of her soul..I love Tori Kelly, she’s beautiful inside and out. Out of all the songs she has released her Gospel songs are by far my favorite..her anointing comes out in the Christian songs.

In a week I'm entering the baptism waters... I'm so excited and so afraid that I may start tearing up remembering this singer. Tory you truly are a big influence in my faith and special thanks to you. I hope you get to write even more songs like this one.

I cried so much in repentance when I first heard this song.God bless these two giants of Gospel music.

Last night I was restless. I couldn’t sleep. The Lord took me to Psalm 42 and then this song. I understood why. I started praying for Pastor Daniel, and her wife Kelley. She’s been fighting Cancer for a while. I know them because our daughters go to the same school/class. I sent him Psalm 42 and this video. Pastor Daniel posted this morning “Kelley is home. She has finished her race. She is waiting on the father shore for all who trust in Jesus”. She past away today early AM. My heart broke for them. If God moves you to do something, do it! Please pray for Pastor Daniel and his family. God bless you.

We always need him, especially when, you know you need him, and you are asking for him, but it's when you have no Idea his presence is needed and in an instant he is there and holding you together before you even knew what hit you. That is when you feel it the most. If you ever felt this then you felt God's presence truly touch your life.

I seriously started to cry. Man so gorgeous! As I was listening to this song, God whispered to me saying “You don’t have to hide it from me. Give it to me.” And that’s where I snapped lmao. praying that God has his right hand on you tori. this song played a huge role with surrendering my life to Christ. thank you for taking joy in doing His will and allowing God's instructions to be written on your heart.

Tori, thank you for being someone who lifts God's name on High. Right now I'm in a point in my life where I'm trying to fast and pray so that God can help me to listen to music that exalts my relationship with Him and to stop listening to this worldly music which doesn't have the best impact on me, and your music helps. Keep doing what you're doing and don't give up on God for not getting as much attention as these other "celebrities". This song helped me SO much as I watched my mom lose her battle with cancer. It came to me at the perfect time (almost 3 years ago) when I thought I couldn't survive losing my her. It was everything I needed to say to the Lord but couldn't verbalize. Thank you Tori for sharing your gift! And Uncle Kirk for the beautiful melody! 💜💜💜

I pray God continues to comfort you with peace and strength! I lost my dad in 2017 on Christmas morning and I know how it feels to have a parent transition. But thank the Holy Spirit fir being Herr whether its a laughing or crying at the memories day! God bless you!
