She could lose it at any minute! I don't care what you say, she is stil the tori from 1992. Walking around piano stores and lashing out on pianos and saying they're her friends. That is why we loved her then and this is why we love her now!

I love that Tori has songs like this on most of her albums...my four year old loves them, too. :)

I have always felt similarly, but as of lately Scarlet is revealing the true mystical gem masterpiece she is.

Am i the only one thinking "Toodles Mr. Jim"? A little bit maybe? And OK, i'll throw in my $0.02 about The Wig ;-> - i'm not really a fan! I do love her hair long though, and hey, this way her real locks can take a break from dyeing. (I'm Not The Blonde I Used To Be, so i have sympathy there! :-)) I liked the line that Grime1982 quoted also :-) She is great at not losing her temper and ALWAYS having the thing to say when people ask rather rude questions!

The whole album is about God and America.. I think she's referring to choosing your OWN concept of God.

Hmm... doesn't sound like Tori doing such a thing. On the other hand , it's her life...

Tori is way to beautiful for Cher, and bedsides her reasons for doning the wigs serves a purpose the the concept behind posse. That this superficial, consummerist culture gives static, unconventional stereotypes to women, and when they are actually fully formed. It does look cortoonish and unreal. Thus, why so many fans get mad at the wig. IT doesn't look like the "real" Tori, which is exactly her intent. It is all a part of the conceptual framework.

But Tori is her predecessor and, now, contemperary. Tori had to srtuggle intensely to revive the Music Industry's patriarchy that "girley music" was not dead. I think Tori really broke through the sexism that allows new fremale songwriters to emerge. Then again, Regina has probably had to face a lot of record scrutiny for her "particular quirkiness," it's evident in her new albums which just seem contrived and over-influenced by the several producers she uses. I miss old Regina.

Never had an issue with the wigs. But the dramatic and extensive plastic surgery and botox has made me sad. As a fan from back through 1991, I had hoped she would grow old gracefully.
