I really enjoy how authentic your content is!
Looking forward to watching next series of this research. Thanks John!
Love John Hammond videos. Even though I’m lost with some topics, I find it fascinating.
I have always been curious and hesitant (at the same time) about this. Thank you for sharing!
John Hammond the legend, appreciate the time you take out to feed us with more info.
Really enjoying this series. Knowledge is everything, especially when it comes to being safe.

Hope this continues as is. Don’t want to see some vanilla version. We want authenticity. Edit: video NOT long enough! :]

Interesting series! Love the introduction to the dark web and the thought you put into this video. Keep it up
I've ben waiting for this serie from long time . Thank you hammond . Well said be safe .
Thanks John! We love you long time.
A fun fact, in Denmark not too long ago, some kids did not want to do a test that required internet connection. So they bought a DDOS attack for estimated 5 euros to shut down their school, what they did not know was the fact that 20 other school or so was connect to the same network, so the attack ended up shutting down internet for over 3000 computers. A whole region

Thanks for all your videos. Keep up the good work.
I have no intentions of doing any of this, but I enjoy watching it. A bit of morbid curiosity I guess!
Thank you John for sharing the knowledge with us. Please keep it up..

Love this videos!!! Keep going!
Nice video, love your content
great work done by my sir john ----> john hammond
Well dude your video was imformative! Thanks a lots! 🙂😊😉
Great content! Id be interested in more of the research aspects of the deep web but so far all meaningful content!!
I like your videos John!
This is a very interesting series, it's scary stuff!
Really love this so far! Just dump everything you can on us!
Cheers Mate. That was Awesome
Hi John, thank you for creating this series initiative, I am looking forward to continuing this "artistic" "scientific" and "educational" journey through this intriguing inter-web of vacuous wayward virtualization of node technology and multi-layer encryption and the collective paranoia contradictory to the anonymity offered by the onion router network. I am interested in what the bad guys are up t and have to know more!. It would be very helpful if you could please give some guidance about how to set up proxies in the Tails browser as well as maybe setting up a VPN in the cloud. I could probably do it but I don't fully understand the effect of the process, i.e. how things work and why, I would rather get it right, first time, which needs to come from someone with experience, that person is you John! Also I'm curious about the network tools in Tails,, setting up a proxy or VPN in Virtual Box itself is another dream! I hope you can cover some of this in future documentaries! Thank you :)
I think the reason why haystack didn't work was because JS is disabled. You can see it wasn't loading a new page, but just blanking out. Which seems to be JS not working properly as we disabled it.

virgin javascript chad html + css honestly if you're making a search engine for onionland with javascript, that showed you're either a noob oniondev or incompetent. always go with the assumption that JS is off for most users.
Awesome series! 👌
Love this series ❤️
Glasses 👓 over Anonymous mask 🎭...😛.. Looking good John
Love this series; love your enthusiasm - and the "grain of salt" gestures & expressions you make THROUGHOUT!! - I would like you to explore something along the lines of: "See if your info is already on this version of the web." .....that's right, I did not use "Dark" "Deep" "Hidden".....based on the ads / sidebars it would more aptly be called "90s Web" or "Web v1" ;p
Dark communication like service sites for email, chat , blogs and file sharing would be a nice find on that search engines.
I'll start installing and following along soon....but thank you for the lesson, once again😃
This is really interesting, and is really relevant for the study I am doing in both psychology(I am interested in why someone may want to go down the so-called "Dark Path") and security. Keep up the good work John your a legend.

@garyberry7568

@@mjohnson116 I wouldn't call it a dark path. I've always been interested in security since a kid. I once got phished when I was young and I got obsessed with understanding how it was done. That led me down the path of understanding hacking. Now I study computer science with a focus on Information security.
wow very cool stuff for days like these

This series will definitely be great! Please try your best not to get disappeared...
This is a good series idea but I just watched you look up web browsers for 19 minutes.
Video made my day.
John, great vids.. are you running a vm to "poke" around? If so, could you possibly do a video of a whole vm setup Keep up the great work, I'm on my way into the cyber security family.
Superb bro
Back again 🔥🔥
Can't be there for the release :( but for sure I'll watch this !

You're doing great Hammond ❤️
hahahaha I love the video description, made me laugh
man always onpoint
Awesome.....btw can I know the music at the end of video 😬😬😬
Great video and I completely agree ! 99% of those hacker for hire things are all fake. They all make insane claims for scams
Loved it
Could u just show us in the upcoming videos list of irc's like the hacker irc's n could u join one hahah ?!.......thanks so much for the video really loved it 😍😍😍
Awesome buddy
New cyber security, heard about you from David Bombal, badass btw! Subscribed to your channel two months ago...will you do any videos on the Deep Web? Using Tails, VM's, proxy servers, etc! Keep up the great content.
what i like about some of these darkweb/net stuff is that webpages have that old back in the arlier days of the internet look.
Now I know how to access the dark web. Thanks mate
Sir please make a full playlist on dark web...
hi i want to know if there is any union links for games and so on
What do you mean when you say v2 or v3 addresses at around 6:40
Nice video series. The question I have: you searched for onion search engines and followed a random internet site. How can you be sure youre directed to the right onion page?
bring your great ideas to life ❤
These 8 dislikes are from the "Fake Hackers". Next time, set up a honeypot in the "dark web" and analyze it after one or two weeks. Great vid BTW!
good man.
For the websites that are not loading, since you disabled all javascript, the websites that require javascript to load won't load, this might explain the behavior you're seeing.

The websites loaded for me while i am disabling javascript
It's really interesting how easily accessible this stuff is. It really makes me wonder how authorities might catch the bad guys we might see on the dark web

Thanks, not so dark anymore now
I know it’s technically backwards, but I’ve always considered the un-indexed part of the internet as the “deep web” and the “dark web” as the part where all the shady shit happens.
Cant wait....
I wonder how many of those hacker for hire things just straight up scams.
@vaisakhkm783

simply, all of them..... There might be some there legit, but they will show up in a hire page. they only sit and do things for there profit....
amazing
Hi, thank you for your work. What is the goal of using Tails if Tor is anonymous anyway ?
@snappybro1251
Жыл бұрын
So that way traces or logs of your session cannot be stored whatsoever. As when you shut down tails, it wipes everything ready for the next session
Do you take notes? If so, do you use any software?
Great content! If you want to raise the quality of your videos, you should use a pop filter for your mic, and/or at least Hipass your voice.
This is part of my quest to understand EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING...whether I intend to use it or not. Lol.... Love geeking out! Edit. Thanks for not cutting out the stuff that doesn't work. I hate when you only see what does work and you're sitting there going, "My screen doesn't look like this! Why isn't this working!? Why do I fail at everything? I cant even follow a simple tutorial!" ....know what I mean? Lol
That DorkWeb thing seems exciting lol
Looking forward for this. Do you recommend using a proxy AND a VPN before opening Tor ?
@pajamac55
2 жыл бұрын
Some people do it with their own VPN (they pay for it == they control it). By using a third party VPN you expose yourself to possible attacks by the VPN which if operates in US will gladly help feds attack you if you are a worthy target. Dont do it if you dont own the VPN (preferably one paid with xmr)...
RIP Excavator was once the best search engine on the dark web to explore.
Do you need to configure all of these settings every time you boot up? If so, can you make the operating system persist, change settings, and return to a non-persistent mode?
@pajamac55
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can make tails os persistent. Just google "tails persistent storage" and the first link will help you with that. Note that you will lose some of the security aspects from having a "live" and always a clean operating system.
Hmm yes artistic indeed
awesome
Very cool video . It's good that you aren't faking going to darkweb and not just hyping about the things that are on there

Can you tell us What vpn you use if you do?
