The ball boys/ girls are pointless, they don't collect the ball. The crowd are cardboard cutouts, none of the players look nothing like their real life counterparts.

I've played Tennis professionally and looking at the animations this game is just... grueling. Besides maybe Roger (which is odd considering he's been motion captured), and even his movements are not amazing, most players strokes look like a regular sunday player. No sense of ball weight, power in the strokes, or even the movement inside the court. Even the first TopSpin on the OG Xbox had better feeling animations. What a shame.

Games fall in price if the game is of poor Quality, this game will not fall in price until at least last quarter ,if you cannot afford to buy a video game at full price find something else to occupy your time other than gaming.

2k does terrible with VC also in NBA 2K. 2K charges you 25k VC for a jacket meanwhile you earn 800VC a game

For people that have played this and Tennis World Tour 2 and AO Tennis 2. What gameplay does it feel closest too? Or is it totally different??

Graphically it looks like last gen especially animations... this isn't a true next gen PS5/Xbox X tennis. Quite sloppy job there...

It’s a refined top spin 4… not what a 13 year wait should have been. Far from it but it has scratched the itch to a degree.

Shocking that Djokovic isn’t in the game, if there’s no solid roster of licensed players that people can use, it takes away from it being a great game, despite the gameplay.

Tennis game without Djokovic, while he is still active and number 1 on ATP. So, next NBA game will be without Jokic?

We’ve been starved of great tennis games for more than a decade, am glad the only issues sound like currency nonsense they can prob patch or just fix on the next instalment.

Iga Swiatek is in it. Her presence alone is worth the purchase.

Looks like a generic half assed EA game from like 2012 lmao. Absolutely horrific that they had the nerve to release this and price at 90$

If you don't want to step onto the Wimbledon pitch in a random selection of clothes from the nearest second-hand store, you need VC. You can buy three pairs of tennis socks for the equivalent of 5 euros. If you want to level up your attributes faster, you need VC. If you want to change your attributes later, you need VC. This costs 2700 VC, i.e. 20 euros. If you want to unlock special abilities with trainers, you need VC. TopSpin 2K25 shows why modern sports games are terrible.

They coulda did better with the character design like NBA 2k games
