I already play with invoker pos 1 with MKB, manta and bloodthorn. If it perfect combo, you can literally melt away Spectre or even BB. but imo the hero don't need much babysitting like Sven, Ursa or drow so it perfectly fine doing pos 3 soloing at bot while pos 4 5 harasing mid and top.

You can use Immortal effects without equipping the item. You can set it on Abilities effect at customization

Try go to your inventory, and choose the ability section, you'll see which immortals to choose. So u can wear normal set, but have immortals effects.

The effect tab is nice, you can even buy only the effect. Like Jugger kill announcer or PA dagger kill effect.
