No words to describe the majestic beauty of this palace, even throughout the years. I love the SOUNDTRACK on the video specially the last song, very Turkish and very elegant, I heard it all in ... El Sultán ( Suleiman the magnificent) what a great serie.

I am spellbound to watch this magnificent Ottoman Dynasty! I am very fond of Sultan Suleman( besically on that actor ❤️), Hurrem Sultan( very beautiful & intelligent too, I love Meryem Uzerli ❤️), Teeny Mustafa, Summbul Aga & the silent strong intelligent lady Nigar Kalfa! All actors are so revive! I am Indian, but to watch this serial want to go to the Turkey. I am fall in love that Dynasty! 🙏

s k Actually the Ottoman Empire lasted from the 13th Century to the 19th century so thats almost 700 years! The reason why it collapsed was because of incapable Sultans not because of the harem, Sultans only had a max of two-eight consorts in his lifetime at least until after the 17th century when Sultans Mahmud II and forward had countless. Thing is about harem it isn’t just a place where women are used to reproduce for the dynasty its also a nursery and education centre for women, any woman that entered harem are very lucky. You’d see that they get an education and if they never bore a son for the Sultan they would be married off to suitable men from the outside. After Sultan Suleiman there weren’t any wars between the dynasty there were just issues with the Janissaries overthrowing the Sultans, this is evident after the regency of Turhan Sultan.

I’m attracted to the love relationship of Sultan Sulaymaniyah and Hurrem, the slave girl. Then on the other side, the role of Ibrahim Pasha in this relationship. I’ve read some historical books on this and watched some movies. I’m beyond thrill how human events can bind people of different social status. The rest is history. My heart yearns to know more but I leave the gaps o imagination. Life is a stage, play your role and be off. Thanks to these human actors. Love you all.
