I keep expecting to hear the theme from Magnificent Century to start playing!

Its a must see, the display of jewellery znd gifts is absolutely fantastic.

The Room of Sultan is shown to be the room of Valide Sultan in Kosem Sultan Series and the actual room of Valide sultan is shown to be the room of old palace in which Kosem Sultan lived for sometime during season 1

I have the feeling Hurrem will pop out of this walls ❤

Golden cage and bloody one in reality but yes is great impressive palace, testament of greatness of people of old world. Its shame that from antique times people were able build such great monuments as pyramids, Machu Picchu, Forbidden city, Great Wall and many many more with bare hands and we with all our science wealth knowledge and machinery cant even repair roads or give people drinking tap water.

I wonder how that place would have looked back in its prime. It was probably bright and coloful. If walls could talk.. The stories these walls would tell. Who knows how many plots were formed.. Enemies made etc.

Me. But what amuses me is when they go on campaign they have a tent with carpets and always a little table with a vase on. 😊 They also have carpets in the garden with a bench on. There's a few things in the series that were not even invented in that era. But it's a brilliant series.

Tickets should buy at the entrance of the Top kapi palace, and you dont need to have a tour guide, everything is very easy to reach

Sorry sister, those are Persian words. Adalet is an Arabic word.... As the Mughal and other Islamic empires ruled Indian for centuries, it seems to you that those words to be Hindi 😂

Meh. Two different states. Ottoman was a Balkan state, Turkiye is a Turkish state. It was the republic of Turkey that ended the Ottoman Empire

I went Topkapi palace on 16th may 2024. Too bad there are few places was closed which is not allow. Example, where the concubines room we can't enter the down only can see from outside hmm
