Looking for a good chicken for our land. It should be a good egg layer, good for food and also look nice on the land. I feel the german chickens are the ones that combine pretty much all of these qualities. Thanks for this video. It gave me a good insight. :-) greetings from New Zealand. Rita

It must be hard finding the right bird for a given area, im wondering. Its quite cold in winter & some frost but very hot & humid where im based! Greetings from Western NSW, Australia.

All of them 20 stunning featured 🐔 🐓 breeds deserves to be on the top list ! The silkies were my top favorite mainly of its vivid fluffy plumage & it’s special characteristics of having 5 toes on each foot, whereas most chickens only have 4 ✅😍

Maybe you got your ayam cemani from Malaysia but this breed is definitely originally from Java, Indonesia.

Land is relatively cheap now in Alabama, Arkansas and Louisiana. I bought 10 acres for one fifty five thouand in Texas and it's about nine hundred had a mo. With house and well.

I live in the US on two acres and my chickens will not wander very far even with no fence.

How do you keep them apart, to stop the roosters mating with the different breeds? Do you have to separate the breeds? Will they mate with different breeds or no? I like the mother hens that look after their brood 😂 Thankyou, Robert for sharing 🙋

I need some chickens to eat the grasshoppers around my plants! When they die, do you keep those beautiful feathers for your wonderful German hats? My son went to Germany seven years ago, before him & his wife became parents. He loves the German hats & he bought several when he was over there but he can't buy good naturally coloured feathers here in Australia. Would they go through postage if I could buy a bag full? You must love your big family! Do they keep your lawn grass down or do chickens keep it down? or do you have to mow with a lawnmower? Yokahamas? Is that the long feathered breed? (the red & white coloured ones) it's beautiful, I love them & the orange & black ones.
