Kikirikis from Puerto Rico! I know they're not a recognized breed in many places, but they most certainly are their own breed at this point, and becoming more popular in the States. They are just as small as seramas, and sometimes even smaller! Very short legs are desirable, and my favorite variety are naked neck bolos (no tail). They're very intelligent, and maybe just a little spicier than seramas in temperament lol. Wonderful little birds!

My favorite breed is the silkie breed. They're really friendly and go broody easily.

Hi, its not always a problem, but it depends on how close their genetics already are. Its for example not a problem to sibmate chickens of the same F1 crossing, when the two parent-strains have been from two very different lines or breeds
