Friends on 4k is surprising. Hoping that means more 4k tv series releases (HBO prestige shows like The Sopranos, The Wire, Six Feet Under, Band of Brothers etc), AMC's top tier shows like Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul. and USA's Mr Robot (which already looks incredible on bluray). But hopefully they release shows still missing an HD release like Seinfeld. Back to Friends, in the release it states "original broadcast episodes". Does that mean the extended episodes (as this is not the syndication cuts)? Those have some top quality content and GOLD moments.

🤩Yes, the FRIENDS 4K💿 set is extremely exciting & as I covered & explained in this video I’m very glad they didn’t include the horrible shorter cut down, edited syndicated versions especially because of all 3 different versions & cuts of the Friends episodes, I prefer & enjoy the original extended broadcast episodes & that version is simply the best version to watch over both of the other 2 mangled & choppier cuts & versions of the friends episodes because the syndicated cuts are missing so much content that’s been cut from them & DVD cut version had some longer cuts & edits of some select episodes but was choppy, poorly put together & was lacking proper flow like the great original extended broadcast version episodes had!! 😍So this is just wonderful news for all us physical media collectors & especially 🔴FRIENDS fans that we are finally getting the entire 10 seasons 236 episodes fully restored on 4K UltraHD💿 & thankfully NOT🚫 with the horribly cut down & shorter edited syndicated versions LOL!!😜🤣😂 😉Hope this helps to answer your questions!! 😘Thanks for your great comments & all your support!!🤟

Boy I'm sorry to hear that you have trigeminal neuralgia. Someone I know so appears to have it well controlled with meds, but as you invariably know there's no one thing that works for everyone. FYI there is a reddit forum exclusively devoted to that condition. Mixed results with acupuncture, never tried legitimate IR photobiomoduation but it sounded intriguing. Good luck in successfully treating your condition James.

👍Agreed, I hated the crappy BTTF sleeves that scuffed & scratched all the discs up & 😜let’s not even talk about all the horrible GLUE in the sleeves that stuck to my 4K💿 discs from the bad packaging that caused my BTTF discs to skip & have playback errors!!🤦‍♂️ So yes, you’re exactly right it’s a HUGE deal they are FINALLY releasing this updated better packaging version‼️🤟😜

Hi James. Huge congratulations on the 20,000 subscribers. I'm looking forward to Jaws 3 and The Revenge on 4K UHD blu ray. I'm entering wishful thinking territory with this question but will Jaws 3 include the 3-D version. Also, Species 2 is another favourite of mine being released on 4K UHD blu ray. I only found out myself about the Friends 30th Anniversary 4K UHD Complete Series box set this morning and I was like "Oh my god!!!" (Janice). I never thought that this would ever receive the 4K treatment. I only hope that each season has its own individual case as I didn't like the stacked packaging of the discs for the standard blu ray box set. Another show which hits 30 this year is ER, which is another Warner show. Did Warner mention anything about this? Keep up the great work and here's to the next 20,000 subscribers.

I ordered the Back to the Future Ultimate Trilogy Yea I'm like most collectors who dislike the packaging of the Back to the Future collection in those sleeves over the years thus I opt the Steelbook but I also wanted in individual 4K cases it's my all time favorite Trilogy was hoping someday the studio would finally release this that way

I am excited for the Jaws series. On 4K and with the Dolby Atmos… I just wish they did Jaws 2 with Dolby Atmos.. that would’ve been better than the DTS HD master 2.0 which I was not exactly a fan of…

Would love to own Election, I forgot about that movie, but its the kind of movie where I'm torn between sticking to bluray or getting a 4k. On one side I think that given the choice I should always go with 4k, as not all movies will get such release. On the other hand it doesn't have SFX or stuff like that and bluray could suffice.

Ordered La Femme Nikita. Jaws The Revenge is underrated. I haven't seen it in years, but I'd like to revisit it and the steelbook looks sweet. That Friends box set is very tempting, now that I know all the work that went into it.

Excited for Collateral and Man From Uncle. I agree with you about the Friends assessment. A 4K transfer of 10 seasons of TV at 25 a piece is a steal. At around $200 or less for Black Friday might be a great time to pick that up. Although now the blu-ray sets are probably gonna be even cheaper than the 40-50 it sits at now, so I wonder if you can find a $25 for the ENTIRE series during Black Friday or around holidays.

31:57 YEESSSSSS! Now we don't have to have the DVDs to get the unedited versions! My wife and I watch the streamed versions of the episodes, and we STILL remember certain jokes and scenes that were originally aired in the 90s and early 2000s. So we immediately notice and are indignant when we re-watch episodes that cut our favorite scenes and jokes. (Two of the most egregious examples: streaming cuts showing naked Ross eating muffins with Ugly Naked Guy; in the episode where they all find out, Chandler's reaction of "Yay, all night laundry!!" is cut for God knows what reason.) I am pre-ordering using your link now! Thank you for all of this great information! I would not have wanted the 4k collection of Friends without knowing that it will have the original broadcast extended versions.

I wonder how improved Jaws 3 will look in 4K as it's such a bad looking film due to how it was shot? The 3D is on the blu ray and is the funnest way to watch it for me. A shame Universal blundered The Revenge again by not including the original ending on it as a branching version! The Atmos is a nice treat though, never expected that for these.

Why would they go atmos for 1 but skip atmos for 2 then 3 and revenge bring it back. Odd

😢Sadly due to the very complicated rights issues for SEINFELD between several different studios & owners it’s been very unlikely to be released due to the constant back & forth between all the rights holders & how much money they each want for each of their various demands & unless that suddenly changes we won’t see it released anytime soon!!🙄

Where is Seinfeld on? 4K? Not even a Blu-ray. It needs to come out. I know about rights issues.

Thanks for the update. You asked for my opinion, so . . . I never liked Friends. I also don't like Ted Lasso. The films you mentioned, I mostly already knew about and ordered the ones I wanted. I hadn't heard about the Three Stooges collection. I ordered it but with trepidation. That's a lot of money, IMO. Also, any way you could cut your intro down a bit (the music, the explanation, etc.)? Not enough time and too many other things to do.

Sure thing for the updates, but it sure seems like you’ve got some kind of 🤨negative attitude possibly going on in your comments!!🤦‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ 💥But as far how I create all my exclusive videos they simply won’t be changing & as I’ve clearly explained hundreds of times, this channel (that I’ve worked very hard over the past 8 years & put my heart ❤️‍🔥 into creating) & each video episode has always been intentionally created like roughly short 30 minute TV episodes that’s covering a wide range of titles, data & info inside each & every video & on top of that due to how highly requested & the extremely high enjoyment, views, likes & overall popularity of all of my content it will simply NOT🚫 be changing from what’s already been so highly successful for my channel!👌 Also as I’ve shared & explained due to my health issues I live with I am only able to release a couple video episodes each week, so there is always a lot I need to make sure is covered in each episode & I’m not a robot just simply spewing out data with no ❤️‍🔥heart either & that’s why I will always share some small things going on personally too!!🤟 My youtube channel has always been intentionally unique & nothing like any other channel out there & that’s why my large audience loves😍 all my content & has made me so successful over the years!!👍 😉Hopefully this helps you to understand all of this just a bit better!!🤟

Other channels do it and actually some songs have long intros. I just like to get right to the actual body of the reviews. It is your channel so that's entirely up to you. Lots of people ask for opinions but they rarely actually want anything but good responses. I really should remember this and bite my tongue.

FYI I sat through hoping the “massive” announcement was The Last Samurai 4K

Now if we can get Warner to get off their butts and give us The West Wing on 4K....at the very least a blu-ray upgrade.

It doesn’t look like Amazon Canada has stooges 😑 To import it will be damn expensive. $380+ 🤞 I can find it here in Canada. Would hate to miss out.

I'll never understand the logic behind spending money and effort to restore a film or TV series only to limit the home video release to a certain number or timeframe then shoving the film back into a vault. That's like building a mansion, holding an open house for a month then tearing the mansion down to build another one. By the way, I was able to pick up the Starship Troopers "Limited" steelbook that was supposedly OOP last night on DiabolikDVD. I think this Limited Edition stuff is all BS
