My admiration for you only increased since you've revealed your health issues especially since i myself have a GBM brain cancer since two years ago and motorcycling is one of the main things that keeps me going. Fortunately i can still ride and i enjoy it even more than before, i keep sharpening my riding skills and knowledge and one of the most enjoyable things for me is watching your videos and seeing how passionate and hard working you are still despite your off camera enormous challenges. Great report, as usual, and very prescient too, (I'm assuming you recorded this just before KTM's announcement of the 990 RC R). The new KTM will use the LC8c motor with over 125bhp and 76lbft of torque. It'll be great to see it on the WSS grid (in 2025?). What a turnaround for the Supersport class - virtually moribund and facing the axe a couple of years ago, it now has perhaps the most varied and interesting grid in bike racing. Kudos to those sorting out the balancing rules!

Good to see you Matt! Indeed, Honda been using the DCT for many years now, I believe starting it with the VFR1200X, of which I don't understand why they have not further evolved it as a competitor for the GS. As the Africa Twin (although a very good bike) is not in the same class.

The Honda cb650 e-clutch seems a game changer too

Should KTM do a limited production run, like the Ducati does? I think it would elevate the brand for more people to buy it. I do think though the RC8C is amazing, but can you ride it on the road or is it track only? I haven't seen any lights on it..

Honda, now BMW, both with E-clutches. Honda's system (CB650R) looks awesome AND cheap... can't see BMW doing "cheap".
