THANK YOU! I realized and thought my instrument was broke because it squeak and never played sounds but all this time my chin was facing down

They are shifted down by a whole tone (on purpose), because this is a clarinet in B flat (on a clarinet in C, they would not be shifted).
time for some cringe stories😂
there was nothing here about fixing squeaky playing....
