I need to see Mr. Freeze as the main villain in the sequel. For me, he's one of the most sympathetic/interesting Batman villains due to his backstory and motivations. I could see him as a major villain aiding in the continuation of the revenge theme, but with a villain that can be redeemed at the end. The sequel can also explore the reasons behind Mr. Freeze's crimes for his wife's sake. From the first film, this can tie in very well with the idea of “good men can do bad things” and how Thomas Wayne indirectly had a man killed. After Batman learns the reason for Mr. Freeze's crime spree, Batman can have an inner dialogue of "maybe I am not doing the right thing” or “ Maybe I am not doing enough as Bruce Wayne”.

I don't know about Deathstroke but Scarecrow and Freeze can work really well.

Boba’s idea of the Flying Graysons and Robin being teased is genius. Throughout the movie we see posters and billboards advertising the Flying Graysons performance as they are a very famous and well known acrobatic group in the Batman universe. Maybe even a side character like Alfred or the mayor casually mentioning the event to Bruce and he becomes aware of it but pushes it to the back of his mind and deals with the main plot of the movie. And then after the movie is over and everything is all said and done, we get an end credits scene where we see Bruce sitting in the audience of the Flying Graysons performance and then we see Dick’s parents die and the camera shot goes back and forth between Bruce’s reaction and Dick crying on his knees next to his dead parents. Then it cuts to black and the credits continue to role. That’s the perfect way to tease Robin for The Batman Part 3 assuming there will be a part 3.

Yeah the should show is progression from first movie glider mishap to him developing a “Arkham City” Type cape I think it would be a clear choice to show the improvement in his tech and his growth as a elite hero. Maybe even introduce a Lucias Fox to help him with tech

@@IrishPride7 Agreed. Nolan's version was ok but he could've had way more potential. He was treated as a side villain that Batman can take down easily. Scarecrow needs to be a threat and I mean a terrifying one. The horror aspect of the character is one of the most interesting parts about him and I think he could play very well on Bruce's fears in Matt Reeves The Batman universe.

I'm not gay but why do they always get very handsome actors to play these rolls? Doesn't suit the characther tere has been some Irish Batman Villians last few years but Colin Farrell as Penguin has to be the best Liam Neeson as Ras Al Ghul was OK but I'm not sure about Barry Keoghans Joker I wanted to see a Joker like Andrew Koenigs Joker in this trilogy like the one in Batman Dead End Jestery insane big nose English accent that kind if thing. I can not wait to see Colin as Penguin in the spin off I'm sure it will be amazing the prosthetics route was the way forward. But back to the Scarcrow I would love to see a Great version of him with either Matt Smith Ewan Mitchell or Iwan Rheon playing him with some prosthetics in the mix. I loved Nolans trilogy but some parts of it haven't aged well and I still don't think they have put the ultimate Joker up yet on the big screen Heaths was good but highly overrated looking back now.

I’ve never been so excited for a movie as I am for The Batman part 2 to release. I want to see Mr. Freeze be the main villain so badly .

Maybe a controversial opinion but something I *don't* want to see are villains that were featured in the Nolan trilogy appearing in the Reevesverse as the big bads. I know those films came out well over a decade ago but they hold so much significance in the Batman space that to me they're still pretty fresh. Personally I really want to see rogues that have never been put to the big screen before, or the ones that have to less than stellar debuts (cough couch Arnie Freeze)

100% we need clayface even if it’s basil carlo or hush while I do agree I really want a better depiction of bane and/or freeze they have too much potential for good story telling bane being a full counter to Batman being extremely intelligent along side his physical power and the sympathetic side with freeze with his wife I won’t go much farther into that because everyone knows that story one of the only reason I’m hyping bane is the fact a lot of people act like he’s just a strong drug addict with average intelligence he needs a proper execution

I want to see more dark stuff in this universe. For example in the comic book 'BATMAN: THE IMPOSTER' Otis Flannegan thought that he was helping batman. But it turns out he was helping an imposter all along. And the real Batman went in interrogated him, punched him, put his head in water and he did not know what Batman was talking about because he thought he was helping him. But then when the police took him in to interrogate, he offed himself. I liked how in The Batman we saw dark stuff like The Mayor with tape on his head saying "no more lies". And the Commissioner scene with Riddler on TV, And Coulson's death. I hope to see more of that in 'THE BATMAN: PART II'.

I like that Patterson's Bat-cave is more or less just a high tech basement/garage fusion. Feels more practical than an actual cave. In a cave, there's inconvenient rock formations. But in an actual basement, there is no need for renovations. Kind of.

I'm really conflicted on what to expect for the second movie, on one hand, the consequences for the Waynes' corruption still haven't fallen hard enough on Bruce, so having Hush as the villain would be great, but on the other hand, Victor Freeze would be a perfect character for Bruce to try and reason with, in a way that would attest Batman's new vision of hope for Gotham

In terms of storylines they could take inspiration from hush, court of owls, no man's land, or war of jokes and riddles no man's land especially since criminals will carve out territory now that the city is flooded I think if it took inspiration from the war of jokes and riddles it would have to happen in the 3rd movie having riddler and joker start as friends and having time to build up Batman's rogues gallery so that in the third movie they can eventually become enemies and start a war with Batman, gotham, and his rogues gallery caught in the middle

The whole snow idea is great, gotham is flooded and it freezes over. Aesthetically it would work great for mr freeze and the penguin. I think that would be a good opportunity to modify the batmobile, maybe give it an off road function where the suspension gets raised, that with a slightly more armoured batmobile would make for some great shots

The main thing I care about is some different colour palettes for the film and it's promo art the first movie had alot orange and yellow and when it comes to trilogies I really like to associate/differentiate each film with a different colour palette even slightly and say we do get Mr freeze this is a great opportunity to incorporate more blues and greys.

I’d love to see the next film open with him capturing smaller villain. A Professor Pyg or Scarface could be easily grounded to this world while showing there is something out there between street thugs and big bads.

It would be interesting to see Harvey being set up as the villain for Pt. 3 and having that be where you introduce things like Robin and the Joker that could be explored in a potential sequel trilogy set it Batman’s prime and later years later down the line.

The number one thing that I want is Bruce to go undercover as Matches Malone. It would make the detective aspect different from the first movie and it would be interesting since Bruce barely knows how to actually BE Bruce, then it could force him to act more normal basically

I loved the first install of matt reeves vision. The first want for me is a minor suit upgrade, I’m cool with the tactical look, just needs to be slicker, A major cowl update, for me the nose is wrong, as it looks flat, should be a more pointy but the main want for me is the white eyes. This could be incorporated with the cowl update.

Honestly, it would be cool to see Mr. Freeze or Clayface as main villains at some point. I mean, we've gotten the Joker countless times, as well as Catwoman and Penguin. But what about some of the villains we haven't seen in a while or at all in a live-action movie? I just think that those would be cool to see as main villains or as bigger villains that play a significant role in the movie. I also think that seeing Batman in a new, more advanced suit that's a lot more durable would be cool. Another thing I would like to see is maybe a slight hint or nod to the Justice League in a movie six films from now. I know he didn't look like much in the first movie, but that doesn't mean he can't upgrade to the point where he can be strong enough to join the Justice League in a future movie. For me personally, it would be cool to see a possible future for the Justice League, Superman, Aquaman, Flash, and all those cool characters. I also think it would be cool to see a version of Robin in a future movie, with one of those Robins possibly being Nightwing and the Bat Family forming for once in a live-action movie.

I think the Joker would be perfect as a secondary villain in a possible finale about the Court of Owls. The Court very much represents order whilst the Joker is about Chaos. So he would be perfect as a third party wild card in a Batman-Owls conflict (similar to The Batman having essentially 3 factions in Riddler, Falcone and Bruce and Selina).

Im a bit late to the party but here we go: -Definitely more alfred as the man in the chair communication with bruce etc. -We need to see more Bruce as businessman at company trying to help or recover the city etc. becoming a public figure (with short hair ofc.) -Introduction to Harvey Dent and develop his relationship with bruce throughout the movie.Dont transform him so fast like in the dark knight.Transform him in the third movie. -For main villain i think hush,black mask,death stroke and scarecrow fits perfectly for matt reeves's universe and his vision. -We need to see other characters pov too cause first movie full focuses on batman and gordon as detectives and we always see them together.They need to separate a little more in the second movie and we need to see gordon in the gcpd working alone on the case etc. and maybe with his family at home. -More cool and smarter entrances to the crime scene instead of just walking slow from the darkness and need to see him investigate without any cop around him too. -More ninja/stealth skills -More technological advanced gadgets (Explosive Gel,Batarang and batclaw maybe) -Improved cowl.Dont need any big change for suit other than cowl cause cowl looks really bad when camera is so close to his face cause i think its so straight.They need to give some cool angry looking 3d shape to the cowl like batman arkham origins. -Improved cape cause a lot of people didn't like the wingsuit.We need to see him flying,gliding with cape. -Autopilot system for the car controlling from arm. -Need to see more arkham asylum inside and outside both if the story involves with it.Because its amazing place to explore and i want them to making it like a ugly old horror place. -Definitely more complex and smarter story than the first movie with more characters involving with it and twists and turns ofc.I can imagine second movie with bad,shocking,emotional ending like the dark knight instead of happy cliche one. -More fast paced,tightened movie and scenes(like the first half of the first movie).I know its stylistic choice but like at least cut out endless slow walks etc. so you can use that time with other more useful things. -Lastly, they need to improve their writing for the second movie honestly.For example we dont need any cliche scene like batman hanging and catwoman saves him last second in the third act or a bomb explodes to his face and he doen't even cover himself with cape etc.They should pay more attention to this small details when writing the script.

I had mentioned the court of owls. I’m still hanging onto it as a want/need. I have a theory about this Alfred being an ex-Talon.. or maybe even a Talon failure, which is how he gets assigned to the Waynes to protect him. He mentions his old life in the circus and the need to protect the Waynes. Haly’s circus is synonymous with The Court of Owls and picking their prospects from there. How else does Alfred know how to fight and have the know-how to teach Bruce to beat the crap outta people? 😄 The court can be easily grounded for Reeves, As their ranks do include living Talons. A girl can dream.

I REALLY want to see Bruce and Alfred working on repairs on the suit/Batmobile. We got a similar scene with Bale making the suit. I just really want that again. I want to hear WHY Bruce chooses the gadgets and gear he uses!

I would like to see some gadget/tech FAILURES in the second instalment. I think it's safe to assume that we'll be getting some new upgrades as, Boba has discussed whether that be the suit or gadgets. We never really got to see, Bruce test his tech although it was slightly hinted at. There's a big difference between controlled testing and field testing when it comes to equipment. I want to see, Bruce develop his tech by learning from his mistakes/malfunctions.

I have to have to have to see Robin in this movie! I actually had a dream a few nights back that I saw this movie and Robin was in it! If you’re curious his suit was straight out of the new 52. This wasn’t in the dream but I wanna say this, I think itd be cool if they show the circus performance like in TAS, but it cuts to black just before they fall, then over the black screen we hear them die and the audience gasp, then it ends. Maybe with text that says “Robin Will Return” or something. That could be cool

They can really do something with this Universe that Matt Reeves has created. Imagine we got like a 6 movie line up of a batverse. Where it’s only Batman family heroes and their villains. While James Gunn does his thing with the DCU.

I'm eager for the upcoming Batman film to introduce fresh villains from the comics. Batman's rogues' gallery offers a wealth of fascinating characters yet to grace the screen. While I appreciate Barry Keoghan's talent, I'm somewhat hesitant about his return as the Joker. The character has been extensively explored in various interpretations, and another iteration may not add much to the film. Instead, I'd love to see villains like Hugo Strange, Calendar Man, Mister Freeze, Hush, Deadshot, and Mad Hatter brought to life on screen. Additionally, expanding the Bat Family's presence is crucial; it's time we see Robin make an appearance. The film's narrative, particularly the scenes featuring Batman's monologue juxtaposed with glimpses of the city's criminals, was a commendable touch. Furthermore, I'm hoping for Catwoman's return, as her character was undeniably captivating. A spin-off TV series delving into her backstory and adventures would be a fantastic addition to the Batman universe.

Joker escapes Arkham but we forget along the film. We get to see Harvey and Bruce become friends. The movie villain is someone else (Hush?). After defeating him, we get the court scene of the Joker throwing acid at Dent, ending the movie. The last scene is Wayne at the circus, camera on him when you hear a loud snap. End

Give him a longer cape. An upgraded suit and Batmobile. As for villans, I honestly want Scarecrow or Mr Freeze.

So I’ve been thinking about the timeline of the penguin and the Batman part two and three.. here’s my take on it. Penguin: End of the season we see the circus we see the Graysons fall… we see Bruce adopt a young 15 yr old Dick… The Batman part 2: Time jump 7-8 months Bruce struggling to find his footing balancing dual identities and keeping it from Dick. Harvey comes back to town as the new DA and tries to rekindle a former friendship with Bruce. Dent wanting to make a name for himself quietly working with the mayor and newly appointed commissioner Gordon. End of movie sees Dent in court with joker and takes acid to his face joker escapes Dick discovers Bruce’s secret… Batman part 3 Time jump 18 months Bruce has been training dick at this point to join him Harvey has snapped and has become big Harv aka two face and begins working with penguin

Great Video as always! More advices from Alfred to Bruce. Bruce's difficulties in transforming from an introvert to an extroverted person. Professor pyg and hush as villains. Both are surgeons and have a preferences for facial surgery. Maybe Batman could chase after pyg in the first twenty minutes which leads him to the Big Bad hush. Greetings from germany!

Boba have you seen the Crisis animated movie. In that movie, the Batman of that universe doesn't take on Dick, but instead leaves him to Barry to send him to an orphanage in Central City. But the Batman from another did took on Dick. I kinda want that with these live action movies. We would have a Batman who weaponizes children in James Gunn's DCU, and a more realistic Batman in Matt Reeves's Saga. But then again, we kinda had that with Nolan, so I would very much still welcome a Robin in The Batman 2 or 3.

If they do Robin in this universe I’d do him as a “Riddler gone right”. After Dick loses his parents he’s inspired by Batman but unlike Riddler, Bruce realises that Dick is just a vengeful kid in way over his head (similar to Batman Dick would in my mind share the no kill rule though he would be reluctant to stick to no killing once he meets let’s say Zuko), so Bruce decides to help and train him, giving Dick and Edward something of a rivalry as Dick would actually be what Edward believed himself to be, an actual ally and partner to Batman.

1) A more physically imposing Batman. Pattinson needs to hit the weights some 2) Arkham Knight type Scarecrow. 3) Batman stalking and scaring his prey 4) A joker that acts like Joker. Not some depressed puppy or rip-off of Ledgers joker. Give me a combo if Nicholson/Leto

I think the second movie should start out with a more public flamboyant Bruce, and have a DeathStroke or Hugo who knows Bruce is the bat as a villain. Maybe a early Harvey as a ally. And I’m ok with MULTIPLE ROUGES. DeathStroke, Hugo, maybe Freeze… along with Penguin and wild card Harvey. REALLY step up the stakes

@BobaTalks: A personal must, the batsuit alongside his gagdets, must reflect his grow as a character... imagine we get a more refined version that a blend of the current suit with more comic book elements. I know it would never happen, but I like the idea of his suit becoming lighter in color to show his change in character. I want that yellow outline to the bat logo, with the purple element to the cape with the full cowl having the chin protector added to it.

Batman really doesn’t care about his life, those thugs shooting fully autos at him in the dark hallway. And he just takes the bullets. The more I watch that scene he could have gotten blasted in the face so easily. Especially when he was hitting them and they were still shooting lol.

I must admit my favorite Bat suit is the Michael Keaton In the Flash movie. Lol the only change I would make to the Keaton suit is being able to move my head and neck then there is a perfect Bat suit. As always my friend love your videos and thank you

I’m wondering if the reason there’s no script for the Batman part 2 yet, is because James Gunn gave Matt Reeves more time to change his script, with an incoming DCU Batman wanting to use certain elements. I would love to be on a fly on the wall during their conversations.

Jason Todd would love and fit so perfectly with mat reeves batman and its darkness

I want Robin/Dick introduced, but not really part of the plot until the third film. I'm hoping Bruce reopens the orphanage to help repair the Wayne image. The Flying Graysons incident occurs in the second film, but as part of a bigger scheme or just covered on the news, and Dick is young enough to enter the orphanage. Then, maybe Bruce sees the kids struggling and tries to make up for Nashton's treatment and eventual villainous turn by taking him under wing (and in the third film, training him to protect himself/act as a mentor).

Ivy needs more media representation! They could totally turn her into an intelligent villain with twisted methods and plans using her expert botany knowledge to try and get rid of people for nature like the Animated Series without actually controlling plants supernaturally. Maybe team her up with someone else!

I think this Alfred is going to be big since he mentions his "days on the circus". He was put in the hospital for a reason . What if he didnt come out of the hospita and its really Hush 🤫🦇

Idk why no one mentions it but Robin was already teased in the second scene of The Batman. The kid who was part of the gang but not fully initiated (only has half his face painted). He didn’t partake in the violence and clearly had reservations about being a gang member. He was also wearing a red hood and is a billed actor rather than an extra. Batman beating the goons wouldve inspired him not to be a gang member. Even the entire plot of the movie hints at Batman learning he is not able to do it alone. Cat woman saves him in the end. & a Major plot point is that Batman learns how fragile orphans can be when they don’t have the right guidance ; The riddler was an orphan. He will want to take up orphans in the future to prevent them becoming bad guys. Matt Reeves is very intentional with his scenes and leaving hints towards future storytelling. These things aren’t coincidental

That gang inituent wasn't a hint at Robin. And the same actor did ironically star as the 3rd Robin who is a detective like The Batman.

I certainly would love to see Harvey dent in part 2 but just strictly Harvey Dent as the DA and possibly explore him becoming Two face maybe in the the arkham series or the Gotham PD series if it ever happens simply because it doesn’t have to happen in the main movie

M16 I believe is what Alfred was apart of in the Gotham show? It would be badass to see Alfred, as a teacher, teach young Bruce in the ways of his hand to hand combat. As a flashback or something to give Alfred his larger part in the movie but not take away from Batman.

1.Given that part 1 had a huge subtext of orphans and stuff, for me it would make MUCH MORE sense that they introduce (if Matt Reeves even does it) JASON TODD into this trilogy. 2.YES, i want and feel like part 2 should be a LEGAL THRILLER with Two-Face/Harvey Dent being the villain along with Salvatore Maroni. They could have characters like Vernon Fields and Gillian Loeb. They could even have a character in there that teases the Court Of Owls for part 3. And he could TOTALLY transfer into Two-Face halfway through the movie, epecially if the movie is as long as part 1. 3.Going with that, they could even take some stuff from Batman Prey. I kind of want the introduction of VICKY VALE as well in this film but i think it would be interesting if she was the girlfriend of Harvey Dent and that her show on tv actually uses FAKE NEWS to try and discredit Batman as the heroic character he is, being a more grey persona. But that is just me. 4.NO, i want this Batman trilogy to stay GROUNDED. No Supernatural elements. 5.Yeah, i want more Alfred & Bruce relationship stuff as well. 6.NO Joker for this trilogy. The character has been beaten to death up until this point.

I need something leading to the Court of Owls in the 3rd movie

I want to see Alfred making him a new cape where its very rubbery strechy and expands at the touch of a button so he can do slick manoeuvres in the air and also a training room with fans on the floor and fake buildings so he can train using his cape and grapple hooks together to look more like the arkham series

I want to get confirmation that barbara Gordon exist and I NEED to see Alfred do something badass like he would in the comics

Harvey Dent should have whatever the cause of his disfigurement is occur at the very end of The Batman Part 2, maybe even in a post credits scene. Then have a Two-Face series that occurs between Part 2 and Part 3

I’d love characters like Mad Hatter, Black Mask, and zsasz to make appearances. Mostly because I think they’d lend themselves well to the vibe matt reeves seems to be going for. I think mad hatter specifically could be done really effectively in these movies.

we definitely need to see fantastical elements like killer croc or see batman get the classic blue and grey suit with the yellow belt

I think in terms of batmobile gadgets a large harpoon winch wouldnt be too far outside of the realm for Matt reeves and they could introduce it in a way where battinson says he wants to implement it because the penguin chase was reckless and caused too much civilian harm so he built it to more safely apprehend someone he's chasing. Maybe it can electrify the car and cause it to stall or something as well. I'd love to see Robin but it doesn't have to be dick Grayson for me. The mayor's son seems like a shoe in. He looks about 12 and they could do a small time skip (maybe 3 years or so) and then start teasing him in a way where maybe at age 15 he's looking to get revenge on any stray riddler followers and maybe he's vandalizing their homes or something and batman kinda bumps into him chasing down another lead. Then at the end kind of have him start tracking batman and figuring out where he goes in the subway. Just my thoughts

I’m building the tumbler atm and did the falcon the falcon wasn’t an easy build dermis will be penny one on wrist comma . I just want them to build on the first and not shove things into there because fans say they want I want robin for a third movie when joker strikes hard but I trust what reeves does Batman is in safe hands with this very passionate director Robin is in Gunns Batman so it won’t be in reeves Batman I think the second movie should focus on the good parts of Gotham and the third being a full rogues gallery joker two face Mr freeze go full long Halloween spec . another good discussion mate well done

I hope to see more of the Bruce Wayne side of Batman. And for him to become more confident as batman and bruce wayne. I think Pattison would have to act more confident and less emotional.

I think a good way to have him learn how to be Bruce (or at least not vengeance) is by having him go undercover for whatever reason as Matches Malone. Basically forcing him to become a different, less broody person to uncover some mystery. It would also make the detective aspect different from the first movie

I really want the sequel to also be just as much of a murder mystery/detective film as the first one.

Scarecrow main villain Bruce tries to help Gotham by donating to Arkham Asylum and other projects to restore Gotham Batman gets a new sleeker and modern suit- he’s gonna die if he doesn’t. That compromised armor after the 4th act of the first movie would justify it. Not to mention it would be fitting as we see Bruce mature, his Batman armor would become more precise and honed/ sleeker/lighter/better protection and absorption of Bullets/ damage. An asylum story line where scarecrow has taken over and is experimenting on the inmates, the first 3 acts take place all over Gotham then the 4th takes place in the asylum.

-We need … girl friendly Bruce Wayne, out in public more. -They can save Robin for the third film imo. -I want more Gotham locations explored, this is the best Gotham we got.

Robin needs to be as young as that boy from the funeral scene in the first movie.

I prefer to see The Flying Graysons incident happen in The Penguin series to help set the tone of the plot for TB2.

Robin would be great but to have a compelling story it requires 3+ movies to tell the full story given that there are several Robins. It's a shame Affleck's Batman glossed over the Jason Todd references they alluded to as that would have been interesting given the jokers involvement.

It’s obvious Harvey Bella Jim Penguin and Bruce will be driving plot. The question is who is the wild card? Freeze? DeathStroke? Hugo? ClayFace? One for sure!

As much as I love Zoe Kravitz's Catwoman, it would be nice to have a different female rogue come into the mix. Could we see the evolving Bruce Wayne persona coming upon a certain daughter of the demon at a fundraiser? Also if Penguin rises to the top of Gotham's underworld I want to see him challenged by other rogues doing the mobster thing, such as Ventriloquist or Black Mask, or maybe even a new aggressive vigilante in town trying to outdo the Batman by killing notorious criminals. Who could we get as secondary villains in the next movie? I want to hear people's suggestions!
