At the time, it was so exciting seeing these official costumes and approved voices because Lucas was promoting the movie. Usually you would get staff in cheesy Halloween cosplay or worse yet, Times Square costumed people😂

-C-3PO wasn't Anthony Daniels' voice and he's the only one to ever voice 3PO in Star Wars Films, shows and video games. -Jango wasn't Temuera Morrison's voice -Darth Maul wasn't correct either -Imperial Guards have never talked - Darth Vader wasn't James Earl Jones

There actually was a “Star Wars Disco” album put out by Meco in the late 1970s. This is a surprisingly good replication of that. They also did *The Wizard of Oz.*

Sometimes even the Force can't get a jar of Vlasic pickles open!

Thank you for reminding me that the Letterman Show humor never worked for me. Only one or two of those lines were even remotely funny. Also never said by Princess Leia: "Play it again, R2 ..."

One of those was mildly funny. I remembered Letterman being funny.

Outside of Paul's billions-filled-pockets this was the only funny joke in the bit 2:03
